Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday 13th January where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

GODRIC GRYFFINDOR produced an encouraging debut effort over this C&D in the Non-Black Type Light & Wonder Commonwealth Plate. He lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green but stayed on at the finish. The son of Time Thief would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he is the horse to beat.

VERCICAT ran a fair race on debut over this C&D. The son of Vercingetorix would have come on from the run and should make the natural progression.

OMKHULU BOSS finished 3.1 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of Malmoos would have gained from the experience and can improve to finish in the placings.

Race 2

TRAILFINDER is the best bet on the programme. He cost himself winning on debut as he hung outwards from the 400m mark to the 150m mark. It must be noted that Digby has come out and won again since. The son of Querari would have gained from the experience and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle, he should take a power of beating.

TURBULENT showed good improvement when second over 1200m on this course last time. He showed speed and tried hard all the way to the line. The son of Rafeef is a progressive type and is a threat.

SKY ROCKET took time to find his feet on debut but stayed on at the finish. The son of Canford Cliffs would have come on from the run and if the 1000m is not on the sharp side, he should have a say.

Race 3

HAZEL GREEN has finished second in her last three starts. She set the pace over 1400m last time before getting caught late by Wyze Declaration. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight drops back to 1200m and she may be rewarded for consistency.

SWIFT SERENITY should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung in the final 250m. Gavin Lerena steps into the saddle and if keeping on a straight line, she may be hard to peg back.

WINTER IN AUCKLAND finished 2 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

Race 4

KLEIN KAROO was not disgraced when fifth against winners last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Canford Cliffs is back in maiden company and may be the one to side with.

SUGAR DADDY stayed on at the finish over 1200m last time, but found one too good in the form of Give It Laldy. The son of Vercingetorix will love the rise to 1400m. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

GALLIC KING tried hard when second over 1200m last time. The son of Vercingetorix will be at home over the extra furlong. He should get a good run in transit from barrier two and merits healthy respect.

Race 5

WOMAN IN GOLD set the pace over this C&D last time before getting touched off by La Patrona. The daughter of Gold Standard is a progressive type. She is likely to get her own way in front from barrier two and can go one better.

UP IN FLAMES finished 0.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

HOMING PIGEON was running on when third over 1600m on this course last time. She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. If not too far out of her ground turning for home, she should fight out the finish.

Race 6

SIGNOR DANTE followed up his maiden win with a good victory over this C&D. He set his own fractions up front and found extra to hold all challengers at bay. The son of Rafeef received a three-pound penalty for that victory. He meets a similar field, is likely to get his own way in front and may be hard to peg back.

WEHAVEASITUATION is a winner of her last two starts over this distance. She takes a rise in class, but is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

YAMAZAKI ran on from last when third over 1600m last time. The son of Danon Platina will love the extra furlong on offer and has cracked a handy draw of five. He should be involved at the finish.

Race 7

BETTER MAN was far from disgraced when sixth in the Grade 2 Race Coast Cape Punters Cup last time. He was reported to be coughing that day. The son of One World won his penultimate outing over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He is the best-weighted runner in this contest and with luck from the widest draw, he can notch up his third-career victory.

TENPENNY has good recent form lines to his name. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 1800m. From his good draw of four, he should be competitive.

UMFULA did not go on with the effort in the Listed WSB Club Prive Summer Stayers Handicap last time. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and he cannot be discounted.

Race 8

RHYDIAN lacked extra late when seventh over this C&D last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He has won once, finished second three times and third once from seven starts over this C&D. The son of Rafeef takes a drop in class and despite his big mass of 63kgs, he can return to winning ways.

WORLDLY was running on after a slow start over 1000m last time. Nichola Yuen retains the ride and if jumping on terms, he should fight out the finish.

HIAWATHA GOLDBERG won a good race over this C&D last time. He gets the services of Sifisokuhle Bungane who takes the weight off his back. He is in a good space and can produce another honest effort.

Race 9

OCTOBER FEST finished 0.05 lengths behind DAME OF TRIX last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. JP van der Merwe does duty and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

DAME OF TRIX has good recent form lines to her credit. She raced from a prominent position over this C&D last time and stayed on to finish third. The daughter of Vercingetorix merits healthy respect.

MARITZBURG MEMORY lost two lengths leaving the start last time, but stayed on to finish fourth. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. If jumping on terms, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 10

This is a competitive Middle Stakes and caution is advised. DEMANDING DAVE looks to have class about him and is a winner of his last two starts. He was given a peach of a ride to win his last outing over this C&D. He meets a similar line-up this afternoon and can bring up the hat-trick.

THE US OF A stayed on when fifth in the Grade 2 SplashOut Cape Merchants last time. He has won three times and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

GOLDEN DESTINY was squeezed leaving the start last time and stayed on to finish second. He finished 2 lengths behind ONE LINER in his penultimate effort. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned
