Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday 11th January where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

Six of the ten runners in this contest are unraced and the betting market will be the best guide. ODE TO THE SEA from the Mike Miller stable showed good improvement when third in the Non-Black Type Xmas Futurity Plate last time. The son of Master Of My Fate is a progressive type and with Tristan Godden in the saddle, he may have more to come.

SMART CHOICE finished 0.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

AMC ROY‘S FANTASY took time to find her feet on debut over this C&D. She would have gained from the experience and should make the natural progression.

Race 2

JAPURA showed good improvement when second in the Non-Black Type Xmas Futurity Plate last time. She raced from just off the pace and found one too good in the form of Kavady. The daughter of Querari is the stable elect with Tristan Godden up and she may have more to come.

LADY GODIVA ran a creditable race on debut over this C&D. The daughter of Captain Of All would have come on from the run and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be competitive.

BETTER NEVER ENDS finished 3.6 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of Declarationofpeace would have come on from the run. Cole Dicken steps into the saddle and he should make the natural improvement.

Race 3

GOOD OMEN hails from the in-form Michael Roberts stable. He lacked extra late when fourth over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. If finding the form of his penultimate run when second, he can win a race of this nature.

CAMOGIE showed improvement when fourth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The son of Rafeef is a progressive type and may have more to come.

FULL MONTY finished 0.9 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 4

PEACH MELBA caught the eye when fourth on debut over this C&D. She took time to find her feet but finished off her race well. The daughter of Willow Magic would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she can go close.

MISS DANON showed massive improvement when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. If confirming that effort, she should be involved at the finish.

AMERICAN GEM finished 0.3 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

Race 5

STRUTTING has shown good improvement in her last two starts, the latest of which was over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. She moved up like a winner that day before getting caught late. She is carded to race on 07 January 2026 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.

PAST AND PRESENT should have finished closer last time as he hung outwards in the final 500m. He would have come on from the run and with luck from his awkward draw, he should be the first male past the post.

DEE DEE‘S DELIGHT has shown improvement in her last two starts. She is the stable companion of the second choice. If keeping on a straight line, she can go close.

Race 6

JEANNE DARC raced from a handy position over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time and stayed on to finish fourth. She won her only attempt over this C&D. The daughter of William Longsword takes a drop in class and despite her big mass, she can notch up her third-career victory.

DE VLUGGE finished 1.2 lengths behind SAINT BRIGID last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

SAINT BRIGID won a good race over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. Sean Veale retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.

Race 7

CAPE EAGLE is better than his last start in the Non-Black Type Betway Summer Cup Consolation as he was reported to be not striding out. He finished 0.15 lengths behind JOHNNY THE THIEF in his penultimate run. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is ideally suited to this C&D and can notch up his tenth-career victory.

ROYAL VICTORY is better than his last start as he was reported to be distressed. He finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he can return to best form.

IMILENZEYOKUDUDUMA was a tad disappointing in the Listed Christmas Handicap last time. He won this race last year and with luck from his awkward draw of nine, it would be no surprise to see him defend his title.

Race 8

COWDRAY PARK won his last start over this C&D at a nice price. He raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and won with a ton in hand. He takes a rise in class, but is clearly in a good space and can follow up with another victory.

PLAZA ACCORD stayed on when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. He takes a drop in class and from pole position, he is one of the leading contenders.

WHITE SEAHORSE should have finished closer last time as he was switched for running room at the 150m mark. He finished third in his only C&D attempt. With luck in running, he would not be a shock winner.

Race 9

COWBOY COUNTRY followed up his debut victory with a creditable fourth-place finish over 1200m on the polytrack. It must be noted that Circumbendibus has come out and won again since. He may be at his best over this distance at this stage of his career and has plenty of scope.

CONNERY is better than his last start in the Grade 3 New Turf Carriers Merchants. Two of his seven career victories have come on this course. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Dezahn Louw does duty and the combination may be hard to peg back.

CAPTAIN‘S CHRISTY should have finished closer last time as she hung inwards in the final 200m. Two of her five career victories have come over this C&D. She is in a good space and should give the males a run for their money.

Race 10

This is a competitive Class 5 field and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is INDECENT PROPOSAL from the Gareth van Zyl stable. He should have finished closer over this distance on the polytrack last time as he was inconvenienced at the 200m mark. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. With a bit of luck in running, he can return to winning ways.

MASK ON was unlucky not to have won his last start over this distance on the polytrack. S’manga Khumalo rides and with luck in running, he should pose a threat.

DEFINITELY YES ran a fair race over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. He won his only attempt over this C&D. Chad Little rides and he may be able to get the best out of him
