TURN IT UP is the best bet on the programme. He produced a promising debut effort when second over 800m on this course. The son of Querari would have gained from the experience and should love the extra 200m on offer. It must be noted that Heath House has come out and won again since. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.
BUFFALO KING CODY finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice on debut. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights and may battle to turn the form around.

PRINCESS OF ALL‘S last two starts have been fair. Craig Zackey steps into the saddle and if finding the form of her debut run, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 3
TAKING A RISK has finished second in her last three starts. She stayed on at the finish over 1160m last time, but found one too good in the form of Inspiration. The daughter of Fire Away may be the one to side with.

JAMMY DODGER is an unraced son of Canford Cliffs from the Grant Maroun stable with Philasande Mxoli booked to ride. He is related to three-time winner Ginger Delight. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.

Race 6
PARISIAN WALKWAY is better than his last start in the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup as he was reported to be not striding out. He has won twice and finished third four times from eight starts over this distance. The son of Ideal World is the best-weighted runner in this contest and can return to winning ways.
SPEEDMAN is unbeaten from two starts to date. He won his last outing easier than the official margin suggests. The son of Vercingetorix faces his toughest test to date, but looks to have class about him and may be up to the task at hand.
SOLAR SAIL’S effort in the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup is best ignored as the jockey was dislodged at the 300m mark. On best form shown, he should have a say. He is carded to race on 27 December 2025 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.
Race 7
NAVAJO NATION is better than his last outing in the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup. He finished third in the Grade 3 Betway Victory Moon Stakes in his penultimate outing. He should have no issues with the rise to 2400m. If putting his best foot forward, he can return to winning ways.

Race 8
TEXAS MISSILE is a progressive individual and won a good race when shedding his maiden tag over this distance at the Vaal last time. ARLINGTON ACTION is better than his last start suggests as he was reported to be fatigued. Two of his eight career victories have come over this C&D. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.
ZIP CODE was doing his best work late when fourth over 1475m at the Vaal last time. The son of Global View tries the 2000m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 9
THE MIGHTIEST was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. She will be mowing down the frontrunners and can follow up with another victory.
MICHAEL FARADAY showed good signs of a form return when second over 1400m at the Vaal last time. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena retains the ride and the combination should be involved at the finish.
