Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 4th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Note this meeting has been switched from turf to polytrack, check for scratchings

RACE 1

PRINCESS CHANTE produced an encouraging debut effort over 1000m on the polytrack. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of William Longsword would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to side with.

DANCING AMBER has produced two fair runs to date. She returns from a 15-week break. The daughter of Real Gone Kid has scope and is one of the leading contenders.

LIGHTSCAMERAACTION is an unraced daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Alan Greeff stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. She is related to five-time winner Golden Palm. If not in need of the experience, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

RACE 2

SILVA STREAKER has finished second in his last three starts. He found one too good in the form of subsequent winner Gimmethatworldcup last time. The son of Heavenly Blue is back on the turf and over this distance, he can shed his maiden tag.

CARAVANTOVACCARES is an unraced son of Erik The Red from the Alan Greeff stable with Richard Fourie doing duty. He is related to multiple winners including My Best Shot and Danish Dynamite. If not in need of the experience, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.

TIME HONORED returns from a 13-week break and is having his first outing for the Sharon Kotzen stable. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since. If settled into his new surroundings, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

 RACE 3

ANATOLIAN SILVER finished 0.75 lengths behind HOLLANDIA BAKKERIJ last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. The blinkers are removed and Richard Fourie steps into the saddle. He is at his best on the turf and may be the one to beat.

HELIOTROPE has good consistent form to her name. She finished third in the Listed Jockey Club Stakes last time. Despite her big mass of 63.5kgs, she should give the males a run for their money.

GEORGE HANDEL moved up like a winner over 1600m last time before getting outrun late by Kleinzee. He has won twice from three starts over this C&D. The 6yo gelding is in a good space and merits obvious consideration.

RACE 4

PYRO EDITION is one of the better bets on the programme. He ran on strongly when second over 1600m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won twice and finished third once from five starts on this course. Apprentice Girish Dookhit takes the 2.5kgs off his back and he will be mowing down the frontrunners.

PAST AND PRESENT ran a fair race over 1600m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He is suited to this distance and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

JOHNNY DRAMA should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was baulked for a run from the 600m mark and had to be switched at the 450m mark. With a bit of luck in running, he would not be a surprise winner.

RACE 5

MADE TO MEASURE is still a maiden after 12 starts. She stayed on when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. The daughter of Fire Away is having her first outing on this turf track and will enjoy the longer run-in. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and if all goes according to plan, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

REDLIGHT LANE did not settle in the early stages of her last start, but stayed on at the finish. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. Craig Zackey rides and he may be able to get the best out of her.

BURNING DESIRE finished 1.25 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result. She is fitted with the blinkers which should keep her mind on the task at hand.

RACE 6

AWAY WITH RED stayed on at the finish when fourth over this distance on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He returns from a 10-week break, during which time he would have freshened up. He should get a good run in transit from Barrier Two and can notch up his second-career victory.

RHYDIAN finished 1.6 lengths behind SPACE O last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much between the pair at the finish.

SPACE O held on where it matters most to win his last start over this distance on the polytrack. He received a four-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Vercingetorix is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

RACE 7

DANISH DYNAMITE is better than her last start in the Listed HKIR In December Umngeni Handicap at Hollywoodbets Greyville. She has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. Her best form has come under Craig Zackey and back on her home turf, she should have a big winning chance.

ANUSCHKAS WORLD finished 0.6 lengths behind the top choice in the race referred to above. He has won once, finished second twice and third twice from six starts over this C&D. On his previous form, he should be involved at the finish.

FAIRY KNIGHT lacked a strong finish in the first leg of the Non-Black Type Nelson Mandela Bay Racing Poly Challenge last time. He finished 1.25 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 8

This is a competitive Merit Rated 76 Handicap for the girls and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is CHATTERBOX from the Alan Greeff stable. She did not go on with the effort in the Listed TAB Casino Champion Juvenile Cup last time. The daughter of Canford Cliffs will enjoy the drop to 1200m. She carries a handy galloping mass of 55.5kgs and has plenty of scope. She is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

INSPIRATION produced a good stable debut over 1300m on the polytrack last time. She would have come on nicely from the outing and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Rafeef is one of the leading contenders.

MAKE BELIEVE was touched off by stable companion Iona Castle last time. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. The daughter of Canford Cliffs is back in a Handicap and merits healthy respect
