Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Saturday 5th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

CELTIC MANOR stayed on when fourth over 1400m in the Non-Black Type Highveld Winter Juvenile Fillies Stakes last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate returns from a 13-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. She is back in Maiden Company and with Gavin Lerena booked to ride from pole position, she is the horse to beat.

EMPRESS OF PEACE stayed on when third over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course last time. The daughter of Declarationofpeace is in a good space and she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

CHAMPAGNE AIR showed improvement when fifth over 1200m on this course last time. She was slow into stride and stayed on at the business end. She will enjoy the rise to 1450m and may have more to come.

Race 2

CLAIRWOOD BREEZE has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He challenged strongly over 2400m on the Vaal Classic course last time, but found one too good in the form of Epidaurus. He gets the blinkers fitted which should sharpen him up. The son of Futura may be the one to side with.

UNCLE BOB tried hard when beaten a neck over this distance at the Vaal last time. The son of Heavenly Blue is coming along the right way and is the biggest danger.

DISDAIN showed good improvement when fourth over 1600m on this course last time. The son of Futura should enjoy the rise to 1800m. Keagan de Melo steps into the saddle and if fit, he may have more to come.

Race 3

SWORD OF LIGHT is the top bet on the programme. She produced a strong finish when second over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will love the rise to 1800m. If getting away on terms, she should take a power of beating in this line-up.

LANTERI found one too good in the form of Last Ovation last time. She is back in Maiden Company and may be hard to peg back.

NICCIS LAW showed signs of needing her stable debut over 1400m on the Standside course last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She will strip much fitter and with Chad Little retaining the ride, she should go close.

Race 4

SECRET CHORD returned to winning ways over 1400m at the Vaal last time. He set the pace and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The 6yo gelding is in a good space and if confirming his recent improvement, he can follow up.

MASTER CHRISTMAS finished 1.3 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

ROBERT BROWNING found one too good in the form of Best Candidate last time. He was touched off over 1800m on the Standside course in his penultimate effort. With a bit of luck in running, he should produce another honest performance.

Race 5

BRAVE WAAM was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The son of Hawwaam has ability and with Muzi Yeni in the saddle, he can follow up with another victory.

FOSTINOVO has finished second in his last two starts after returning from an 11-week break. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since. He is having his peak run today and merits healthy respect.

REDLIGHTGREENLIGHT ran on powerfully when winning his last start over 1600m at the Vaal. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is in a good space and is a solid back-up for the Tony Peter stable.

Race 6

COSMIC SPEED should have finished closer to the winner in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint last time as he was awkwardly placed at the 100m mark. The son of Querari won his only attempt on this course. He is the class horse in this contest and with luck in running, he should take a power of beating.

CHRONICLE KING set the pace in the Grade 3 TAB Sea Cottage Stakes last time, but found one too good in the form of Errol Flynn. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. The son of Vercingetorix is one of the leading contenders.

MONEY HEIST showed a good turn of foot when winning his last start over 1600m on the Standside course. He has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts on this course. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 7

TAKING RISK produced consistent form before given a 15-week break. She has won once, finished second four times and third twice from nine starts over this distance. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and if fit, she can notch up her second-career victory.

TIME WILL TELL stumbled leaving the start last time, but ran on to finish second. The son of William Longsword takes a drop in class and if getting away on terms, he can go one better.

SERGEANT SOQRAT showed speed over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time, but found one too good in the form of Trompe L’oeil. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Jacey Botes steps back into the saddle and the combination cannot be discounted.

Race 8

SAKURA HANAMI fought back well when winning her last start over 1160m on the Standside course. It must be noted that Trompe L’oeil has come out and won since. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of What A Winter is in a good space and she may be hard to peg back.

STONEYWOOD was caught late when second over 1160m on the Standside course last time. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Jacey Botes retains the ride. He is in a good space and should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

TRADITIONAL BELIEF finished 1 length behind the second selection last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter
