Round 6 of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season is complete and in this blog we recap the results and our bets before turning our attention to Round 7.
Bet: Force v Chiefs
Posted March 28 09h31
2 units under 58.5 points at 0.88/1 at POKERBET
I handicapped this game Force +9.5 and the early line I saw was +14.5. The line has edged somewhere in the middle and now sits at +12.5. Conditions don't look as bad as I was hoping they would be but the humidity is high and I am taking the under 58.5 points.
Bet: Blues v Drua
Posted March 28 at 06h14
1 units (1-5) Blues win by 21-30 points inclusive at 57/20 with Betxchange
Then Blues are -21.5 and the points line is 58.5. After a poor Friday I am not rushing in here and will have a small interest on a winning margin play.
This handicap is close to where I set it so I am not seeing value but am leaning under 58.5 in what looks like overcast but dry conditions with humidity in the 80's.
Bet: Brumbies v Waratahs
Posted 26 March 22h50
Bet: 2.5 units (1-5) under 56.5 points at 0.92/1 at POKERBET
The days of Aussie derbies being low scoring affairs are something of the past but with rain about during the day and potentially during the game I like the under 56.5 here. It would have arrived in 3 of the last 4 meetings between the teams.
The handicap is Brumbies -12.5 and I handicapped it -11.5 so see no value there
Bet: Pasifika v Highlanders
Posted 26 March 22h43
2 units (1-5) Moana Pasifika over 23.5 points at 0.94/1 at POKERBET
There is some rain about earlier in the day and conditions look decent. Moana have had a poor season but this isn't the strongest Highlanders team and I like them to beat the handicap of +14.5 (opened +17.5) but prefer the points overs play.

ROUND 6 RESULTS
Posted 22 March08h30
It was a weekend of fine margins especially the points plays
Highlanders 7–50 Hurricanes – The Hurricanes money was spot on. I was on under 55.5 and that final conversion killed the bet.
Brumbies 33–24 Chiefs – Brumbies started +3.5 and had been well backed. I was on under 57.5 and eked out a narrow win. My smaller Chiefs 1-12 play was well beaten.
Fijian Drua 6–21 Reds – I went under 58.5 here and it cruised in as the Reds pulled off a minor upset.
Moana Pasifika 21–50 Crusaders – I was on Pasifika +25.5 and 3 points down at the break this looked a winner only for them to capitulate as only Pasifika can.
Waratahs 20–35 Blues – I liked the Blues -6.5 but took the under 55.5 instead and it scraped home by the narrowest of margins.
LEAGUE TABLE UPDATE
After six rounds the Hurricanes remain top of the Super Rugby Pacific standings with 20 points from five matches.
The Blues are level on 20 points in 2nd place, having played one game more, while the ACT Brumbies have also played 6 matches and sit 3rd on 19 points following their win over the Chiefs.
The Queensland Reds (5 matches) continue their strong campaign and are currently 4th on 18 points, with the Crusaders (6 matches) moving up into 5th place on 14 points after their win in Round 6.
The Chiefs (5 matches) occupy 6th position on 13 points, while the NSW Waratahs (5 matches) are 7th on 10 points.
Further down the table the Highlanders (6 matches) sit 8th on 9 points, with the Fijian Drua (5 matches) in 9th on 8 points.
At the bottom end of the standings the Western Force and Moana Pasifika are both on 4 points and look dead and buried.
I will be back tonight with my handicap projections for Round 7.
