Race 1

ENGLEFIELD GREEN has run three good races to date. She lost a length leaving the start last time and stayed on at the finish. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight may enjoy racing on the straight course and she can shed her maiden tag. 

HOPE CHEST finished 0.7 lengths behind the top choice on debut. She would have gained from the experience and should make the natural improvement. 

MIRACULOUS made the expected natural progression when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. She finished 1.2 lengths behind the top choice on debut. She is a progressive type and must be included in all bets. 

Race 2

GARRIX produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He was green in running but finished off his race strongly. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating. 

NATIVE RULER showed improvement when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. The son of Vercingetorix is a progressive type and may have more to come. 

SUMMER SNOW is better than his last start at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He will strip much fitter and on his previous form, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. 

Race 3

SWEET CONIFER ran a good race on debut over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Canford Cliffs would have gained from the experience and if jumping on terms, she can improve to win a race of this nature. 

BERRY‘S BOOGIE was a tad disappointing in her last start over 1400m. Her debut effort over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville was encouraging. The daughter of Churchill may be at her best over this type of distance at this stage of her career and she should go close. 

SPINMYANGELSSPIN was in need of her debut effort over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run and should make the natural progression. 

Race 4

CRESCENT has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He challenged strongly over 1250m last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Legislate is a progressive type and with Grant van Niekerk in the saddle, he can shed his maiden tag. 

GOLDEN DESTINY was his own worst enemy last time as he over raced in the early stages. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

UNSUNG HERO finished 1.6 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. 

Race 5

MARINE MERCHANT has finished third in both his efforts to date. He stayed on over 1600m last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Captain Of All should be ideally suited to this distance and he is the horse to beat. 

HONOR OF KINGS has run two fair races to date. He will love the rise to 1400m and is one of the leading contenders from pole position. 

REGULATION showed some improvement over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He has been gelded since that outing which may have done the trick. There should be more to come from the son of Legislate. 

Race 6

MY FLOWER FATE was doing her best work late when fifth in the Grade 3 Baker McVeigh Diana Stakes last time. She has won once, finished second twice and third twice from seven starts on this course. The daughter of Master Of My Fate will strip much fitter and if getting away to a clean start, she can notch up her third-career victory. 

FATAL GEM stayed on when fourth behind Red Palace last time. She won a good race over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville in her penultimate outing. If finding the form of that run, she should be competitive. 

CALLMEGETRIX finished 1 length behind the second choice last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. 

Race 7

KING PELLES won a good race in his last start over 2000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He was held up for a run at the 400m mark that day and finished off his race strongly. The son of Duke Of Marmalade meets a similar line-up this afternoon and can follow up with another victory. 

NAVY STRENGTH finished 2.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. 

MARSHALL FIELD finished 2.55 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. He is also 2kgs better off at the weights which is not enough for the tables to be turned, but he should finish closer.

Race 8

TAP SHOES was a tad disappointing in her last start over 1400m. Her debut effort when third over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville was encouraging. The daughter of Master Of My Fate is bred to love the rise to 1800m. She jumps from pole position and may be the one to side with. 

LAVENDER BAY was caught late when second over 1600m last time. The blinkers seem to have done the trick. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

ENGLISH MISTRESS finished 0.05 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish
