Bulls:
After 12 rounds of the regular season the Bulls are in third position with a record of 8 wins and 4 defeats. They have a tally of 41 log points, 3 shy of Glasgow and 16 adrift of Leinster, Looking down the fourth placed Sharks are 2 points back and fifth placed Munster are 8 adrift.
Round 12 saw the Bulls go down 19-16 at home to the Stormers, a derby defeat which ultimately cost them the chance of winning the SA Shield. They also lost to the Sharks a Loftus recently so they are bidding to avoid a third successive URC defeat in front of their own supporters. Earlier matches against Irish opposition this season saw the Bulls thrash Ulster 47-21 in Round 5 and they won 28-14 at Connacht in Round 7.
After this the Bulls host Zebre Parma before they switch focus to the Challenge Cup Round of 16 where they will visit Avrion Bayonnais. The remainder of the URC regular season sees the Bulls visit Munster and Glasgow before they finish up with home games against Cardiff and the Dragons.

Leinster:
With a perfect record of 12/12 Leinster are 13 points clear of Glasgow at the top of the standings and it would take a dramatic collapse for them to lose top spot.
Leinster have picked up 9 bonus points in those 12 matches and in earlier home games they have seen off the Lions (24-6) in Round 6 and the Stormers (36-12) in Round 10.
After this Leinster will visit the Sharks before hosting Harlequins in the Champions Cup Round of 16 after they came through the pool stage f that competition with a 100% record.
