ROOSTER BRADSHAW ran a fair race over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. His penultimate run when third over this distance, catches the eye. The 11-week break may have done him the world of good. If not in need of the run, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure. 

PRINCE FLORIAN raced wide around the turn over 1600m last time, but stayed on to finish second. He is having his first run on this course and if suited, he should be involved at the finish. 

TREND MAKER produced a promising debut effort over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The son of Potala Palace would have gained from the experience and will love the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he can go close.

Race 2

CATS PAJAMAS held on where it matters most to win his last start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Rafeef has plenty of class about him and from his good draw of three, he should follow up with another victory. 

QUASIFORSURE stayed on when second over 1200m last time. He won his only attempt over this C&D. He jumps from pole position and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

DIANI stayed on when third in the Listed Christmas Handicap last time. It must be noted that Imilenzeyokududuma has come out and won again since. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off his back and he cannot be ignored. 

Race 3

LINDBERGH ran a good race when second over 1600m on this course last time. He set the pace before getting caught in the shadow of the post by Kitchakal. If repeating that effort in this field, he should fight out the finish. 

MR MASTER STARTER has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his wide draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

TYRCONNELL won a game race over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He takes on stronger, but is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand. 

Race 4

PATANTS HEIR won a game race in her last start over 1000m on this course. The daughter of William Longsword received a four-pound penalty for that victory. She meets a similar line-up this afternoon and may be the horse to side with. 

CAPTAIN‘S CHRISTY won a good race over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time, despite excuses. She has won twice and finished third four times from ten starts on this course. The daughter of Captain Of All merits healthy respect. 

BEVIES DELIGHT ran a fair race in the Listed Flamboyant Stakes last time. She won a good race in her penultimate run over 1400m. Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle which is a big plus, and she should be involved at the finish. 

Race 5

SOHO STAR is inconsistent, but his last start behind Mar Del Plata catches the eye. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Damyan Pillay which will assist his cause. He is having his peak run today and can return to winning ways. 

COMING IN HOT has good recent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that Passage Of Power has come out and won again since. His last victory came under Blaine Marx-Jacobson and the pair merit healthy respect. 

DAPPER fought back well to win his last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from five starts over this distance. He is in a good space and can follow up.

 

 

Race 6

HODGEPODGE followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. She raced from a handy position that day and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Ideal World has ability and she may be the one to side with. 

MOUNTAINSOFTHEMOON has fair recent form lines to her credit. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Damyan Pillay which will assist her cause. The daughter of Pathfork would not be a shock winner. 

RADU has decent recent form lines to her credit. All three of her career victories have come over this distance. From her good draw of three, she should finish in the money. 

Race 7

NOCTURNAL FLIGHT has some good recent form lines to his credit. He raced from a handy position over this C&D last time and fought hard all the way to the line. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle and with a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to beat. 

JAZZ FESTIVAL finished 1.15 lengths behind GO GRAYSON GO last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. He does jump from a good draw of three and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

GO GRAYSON GO followed up his maiden victory with a creditable fourth-place finish. He won his maiden on this course and with a bit of luck from his wide draw, he should finish in the money. 

Race 8

NOW I GOT YOU was running on when second over this C&D last time. He finished 0.8 lengths behind ONE IRISH ROVER that day. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Deryl Daniels retains the ride and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure. 

WHEREVERILAYMYHAT finished 1.4 lengths behind ONE IRISH ROVER in the race referred to above. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. 

EL DRAQUE finished 1.7 lengths behind ONE IRISH ROVER last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena retains the ride and he should earn another cheque.

Race 9

EMERALD GREEN was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She showed good pace, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight meets a similar line-up this afternoon and can follow up with another victory. 

PROM QUEEN finished 4.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. 

AVERNIAN GODDESS finished 3.8 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. The daughter of Vercingetorix will be mowing down the frontrunners
