The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 4th to 6th August including an acca with @WorldSportsBet
The Rugby Championship is done and dusted and all I can say from a punting point of view is thank goodness as I just couldn’t catch it right. Last week’s Best Bet was a case in point and early on I thought the Boks looked well set to run in plenty of points, but in the end they were left hanging on just to win the game.
THE HANDICAP
There is plenty of International Rugby this weekend, but as @OraclePedia and I discussed punters are advised to tread carefully as everything from here on in is about World Cup preparation. It doesn’t mean there won’t be opportunities to make money though.
It was great to have the Oracle back in action!

EPL FANTASY LEAGUE

MACKEM’S MONEY MAKER (MMM)
Chris (Mackem on the forum) is very much into his horses these days and his boy, Royal Victory ran 4th in a feature race down in Durban last weekend. He is going to keep his eye on things and when he fancies something on the weekend will send his bet through and I will include it in the newsletter
MMM: Turffontein, Race 4, No2 Atticus Finch
Currently 2/1 at Hollywood after an opening call of 33/10. Had a good win returning from a break last time out, lightly raced and still plenty of scope for improvement

FRENCH DEPTH TO SHINE THROUGH
After some deliberation France overs gets the nod as my Best Bet. They are missing a few stars but have such depth and I think the books could be underestimating them in Scotland. There is some rain about but the quote is low and I am backing the French to fire.
BET: 5 units France over 20.5 points at 8/10 at Playabets*

Highlights on Goodforthegame:
- I had a case of beers on the line with @OraclePedia in the Bledisloe Cup and you can click here for the Argentina v South Africa match preview
- Scotland v France and Wales v England should give us some good pointers ahead of the World Cup and I will also be keeping my eye on the Ireland v Italy betting
- Banyana Banyana have defied the odds (they were 11/1 to qualify for the group stages) and they will contest a Round of 16 match with the Netherlands on Sunday. There is a preview for Netherland v SA in the WSB Blog
- The Proteas fell just short of making the last 4 in the Netball World Cup and as the competition reaches its business end here is a preview of the semi-finals
- BetOlimp are sponsoring a new kid on the block “The Don” and he looks at the weekends International Rugby in this preview
There are enough rugby games for an acca but I am going to mix things up a bit for a change
This weeks acca works out 20/1 – CONFESSION: I can’t give you the code as I have 7c in my account and need to top up before I can place
0.5 unit down at WSB
England 5/10 v New Zealand (Netball)
Jamaica 12/10 v Australia (Netball)
Over 3.5 goals 11/10 Banyana Banyana game
Australia over 18.5 at 8/10
