GRIFFONS V FREE STATE CHEETAHS
This handicap has been fairly stable all week having opened +48.5 with +47.5 Griffons currently on offer.
The Cheetahs hammered the Griffons 82-20 in Bloem and the Griffons 3 defeats have been by 62, 42 and 49 points.
The Cheetahs started favourite last week against the Bulls but lost 25-13.

The points line is 73.5 which is probably about right. GeeGee pointed out in the forum that the Cheetahs have made wholesale changes and he makes the Griffons on the plus a solid play. I am leaning in that direction as well but will make my play Griffons over 12.5 points. They scored 20 in Bloem in a big defeat and 15 last week against WP so even if they are getting a hammering this can arrive.
BET: 5 units Griffons over 12.5 points at 0.81/ 1.08/1 at Boylesports*

LIONS V SHARKS
This line has shifted from an opening call of -7.5 Lions to -12.5.
The Sharks have named a young side which explains the betting drift and the Lions will be looking to improve on a scrappy 12 points win at home to the Griquas last week.
The Sharks were well beaten by the Pumas at home.
The Lions edged the Sharks by 1 point in Durban in week 1.
Bet Posted 27 July 11h52:
The handicap has continued to shift out and is now -15.5. I feel like I have missed the boat a bit and the points line of 63.5 looks about right.
I am just going to take a small play on the Lions to win by 21-30 points inclusive.
BET: 2 units Lions by 21-30 points inclusive at 3/1 at Betxchange
BLUE BULLS v WESTERN PROVINCE
Bet Posted: 26 July 09h28
The Bulls have looked good and are unbeaten after 3 matches. They beat WP by 5 points in Cape Town but the score flattered WP slightly who were well behind at one point.
I handicapped this game at -12.5 Bulls in my weekly Sunday night exercise and I have seen some -10.5 around so the -8.5 is begging for some action.
BET: 4 units Bulls -8.5 at 17/20 at WSB
Bet Posted: 27 July at 11h32
The money has come for the Bulls and there is now -11.5 on offer.
I was going to leave it at my original bet but cannot resist getting involved in the points lines.
The quote is 53.5 and I am on the overs.
There were 55 points when the teams met at a wet Cape Town in week 1 and the last 3 meetings at Loftus have had 74,79 and 79 points in them.
BET 2: 5 units over 53.5 points at 0.93/1 at Betxchange
Update 27 July 11h35
Line move quickly to 54.5 which I have taken, still 53.5 at Pokerbet
PUMAS v GRIQUAS
Bet Posted: 28 July 10h41
I handicapped this game at -9.5 Pumas in my weekly Sunday night exercise and the -11.5 on offer is very much in that vicinity.
The Pumas hammered Griquas away from home in round 1 but Griquas seem to have come on with game time and I am undecided on the handicap.
The points line is 63.5 and there were 66 points when the sides met in week 1. This is a fixture where you would expect points but there have actually been some low scoring matches over the years.
The way this Currie Cup is going I can’t go unders though and a Sunday interest on 64 or more points is the call.
BET: 3 units over 63.5 points at 9/10 at Betxchange
