Leicester and Southampton have both got off to a slow start with Leicester currently sitting in 15^th ahead of Southampton in 17^th on goal difference. Both teams have taken 1 point from their first two games, Leicester losing 4-2 away at Arsenal last time out after drawing 2-2 at home to Brentford in their opener and Southampton drew 2-2 at home to Leeds having lost 4-1 away at Tottenham in their opening fixture.

Last season’s meetings between these sides had plenty of goals with Leicester winning this fixture 4-1 and the reverse fixture being drawn 2-2.

Arsenal are sitting with a 100% record in 2^nd place behind Manchester City on goal difference. They beat Leicester 4-2 at home last time out and prior to that saw off Crystal Palace 2-0 on the road.

These sides played out low scoring fixtures last season with this fixture getting drawn 1-1 and Arsenal winning 1-0 at home.
