DSTV have 3 mid-week matches to look forward to and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where Mamelodi Sundowns are 5/10 favourites to defend their title. There is then a 3-way tie for 2nd in the betting with Pirates, Royal AM and AmaZulu all at 8/1 and you can get 16/1 Chiefs and 33/1 and better the balance.

TUESDAY
Royal AM v Richards Bay – Click here to bet
Royal AM are currently top of the table with 13 points from their 7 matches, 3 points ahead of Richards Bay in 5th, but having played a game more. Last time out Royal AM beat Sekhukhune 2-1 on the road and have taken 7 points from a possible 12 at home this season.
Richards Bay topped the log early and they bounced back from back-to-back defeats with a 2-1 away win over Stellenbosch last time out. Prior to that they had lost 1-0 to SuperSport at home and Kaizer Chiefs on the road. They have taken 6 points from a possible 9 on their travels.
Royal AM have impressed this season and I still feel that Richards Bay are punching above their weight, a home win is the call for me here.
Suggested Bet: Royal AM Win at 19/20
Cape Town City v Sekhukhune – Click here to bet
Cape Town City sit currently sit 9th on the table and they have taken maximum points from their last 2 starts. Last time out they beat Galaxy 1-0 on the road and prior to that beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 at home which gave them a much needed boost as they had failed to win any of their opening 5 games.
Sekhukhune are sitting 15th on the log with just 1 win in their opening 6 matches. Last time out they went down 2-1 at home to Royal AM and prior to that lost 2-1 away at Swallows.
Cape Town City won this fixture 2-1 last season and I am expecting a similar score line and will go with both teams to score, something that would have arrived in the last 3 Sekhukhune League matches.
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 5/4
WEDNESDAY
Chippa United v Mamelodi Sundowns - Click here to bet
Chippa United are firmly rooted to the bottom of the table with 5 points from their opening 6 matches. They went down 3-2 away at Golden Arrows last time out and their last home game was a goalless draw against Galaxy.
Mamelodi Sundowns are 4th on the log with 2 losses in their opening 6 matches and while still very much in title contention and League Title favourites they have looked nowhere near as convincing as they did last season. Their last game was a 2-1 loss at SuperSport United and they have taken 4 points from a possible 9 on the road this season.
In the last 5 League matches hosted y Chippa United between these sides, Chippa have drawn 3 and lost the other 2 games by exactly a goal. I think this is going to be another tight one and I am going to back Sundowns to edge it by a single goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Chippa United +1, the draw at 12/5
