Chelsea v Dinamo Zagreb – Click here to bet

Chelsea are top of Group E on 10 points, 3 points ahead of AC Milan and with a superior goal difference. It is very unlikely they will get removed from the top of the table. Dinamo Zagreb are 4th on the log on 4 points from their 5 matches and although mathematically they could overtake AC Milan their goal difference is such that it is nothing really more than a mathematical possibility.

Chelsea have won their last 3 Champions League matches in a row including beating Salzburg 2-1 last time out. Their home games were a 3-0 victory over AC Milan and a 1-1 draw with Salzburg. Their confidence may be a bit low after a 4-1 away defeat to Brighton in the English Premier League, a result that ended a 9 match run without defeat.

Zagreb had to come through the qualification stages. They found the going tough in the group stages. They opened with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea at home, but since have only taken a point and that was at home to Salzburg. Their two away games were a 1-0 defeat to Salzburg and a 3-1 defeat to AC Milan. Like Chelsea they lost in the League on the weekend.

I am expecting Chelsea to get the win here, but I don’t think we will get fireworks as they are almost guaranteed of top spot. I am going for a correct score here, Chelsea 2, Zagreb 0.

Suggested Bet: Correct Score 2-0 at 11/2

Juventus v PSG – Click here to bet

Juventus have been disappointing in this Tournament and they are not going to make the qualification stages, sitting 3rd on the log a distant 8 points behind Benfica and PSG. They lost 4-3 away to Benfica last time out and their only victory was a 3-1 home win over Maccabi Haifa. These sides met in Round 1 with PSG winning 2-1 at home.

PSG are undefeated and beat Maccabi Haifa 7-2 at home last time out. Their two away games were a 1-1 draw at Benfica and a 3-1 victory over Maccabi Haifa. Obviously PSG will be keen to win and wrap up top spot, but I am not 100% sure the motivation will be there and I think Juventus can get a face-saving win at an attarctive price.

Suggested Bet: Juventus win at 7/2

Manchester City v Sevilla – Click here to bet

These sides play in Group G and Manchester City top the table on 11 points from their 5 matches, 3 points ahead of Dortmund and a further 3 points ahead of Sevilla in 3rd. Unfortunately for Sevilla even Dortmund lose to Copenhagen and they beat Manchester City, the difference in goal difference is likely to be too great to see them into the group stages.

City are coming off back-to-back away draws against Dortmund and Copenhagen in which there were no goals scored. Their two home games were a 5-0 win over Copenhagen and a 2-1 win over Dortmund.

Sevilla beat Copenhagen 3-0 last time out, their first victory of the campaign and their two away games have been a 1-1 draw at Dortmund and a goalless draw at Copenhagen. Their match over Manchester City in Round 1 saw them hosting the English team and go down 4-0.

Manchester City had a workmanlike victory over Leicester on the weekend with a couple of their star players rested and I am expecting them to put this Sevilla team away comfortably.

Suggested Bet: Manchester City over 2.5 goals at 15/20
