EPL BETTING UPDATE

Before we get into this match and bearing in mind that it is the curtain raiser for the Premier League season let’s take a look at the latest English Premier League betting. Manchester City are currently trading at 13/20 favourites with Chelsea and Liverpool both at 19/4, you can get Manchester United 29/4 and then a massive jump out to Tottenham Hotspur at 40/1 with the balance of the teams available at 46/1 and better.

Click here for English Premier League Outright Betting including the Relegation Markets where Norwich are 9/10 to go back down to the Championship and you can also get season match bets between the sides and various other long term markets.

Onto the match itself…..

Leicester were 5th in the League last season, unfortunately missing out on Champions League action despite looking well positioned to secure a Top 4 finish heading into the final week. They qualified for the Community Shield by beating Chelsea in the FA Cup Final.

Manchester City started last season slowly, but ended up winning the Title comfortably, finishing 12 points clear of Manchester rivals United. Their only disappointment last season was going down in the Champions League final to Chelsea and as mentioned above they start a warm order to defend their English Premier League title.

Last season Arsenal beat Liverpool on penalties to win the Community Shield and in the previous year it was Manchester City beating Liverpool also on penalties. Leicester has not featured in this Community Shield since 2016 when they lost 2-1 to Manchester United.

Leicester City 11/4

Draw 27/10

Manchester City 9/10

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals, YES, at 16/10

We haven't really had a high scoring Community Shield since Manchester City beat Chelsea 3-2 back in 2012 that match taking place at Villa Park.

Both these sides show plenty of attacking intent though and I am expecting an entertaining game with goals at both ends and hopefully plenty of them.
