TOTTENHAM v BURNLEY

Tottenham are 5th on the table, but just 1 point behind Arsenal above them having beaten Arsenal 3-0 at home on Thursday night that after taking a point at Anfield the week before. Tottenham have won 4 of their last 5 home games and in their 18 home matches only 1 game has been drawn.

Burnley are 17th on the table, 1 spot outside the relegation zone purely on goal difference. They were on an excellent run that had seen them undefeated in 4 and win 3 in a row before they lost 3-1 at home to Aston Villa in midweek. Their last away game was a 2-1 win at Watford and overall this season they have won 2 and drawn 7 of their 17 away matches.

13 of 18 Tottenham home matches have delivered profits had you backed over 2.5 goals, but only 7 of the 17 Burnley away matches have reached the 3 goal mark.

Burnley edged Tottenham 1-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season, but Tottenham romped home 4-0 in this game last season.

Tottenham 4/11

Draw 9/2

Burnley 15/2

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Tottenham (-1.5) at 19/20

For this bet to arrive we need Tottenham to win by more than a goal and I think it is a likely outcome. Both teams are desperate for points for different reasons, but the defeat to Aston Villa at home suggests that Burnley are running out of steam and I think Tottenham will put them away comfortably.

WEST HAM v MANCHESTER CITY

West Ham are 7th on the table and last time out beat Norwich 4-0 on the road breaking a run of 4 matches during which time they have taken only 1 point. They have won 50% of their home matches this season and 11 of those 18 home games have had 3 goals or more in them.

Manchester City are 3 points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table and with a superior goal difference. A victory here would realistically wrap up the title. They have won their last 5 matches in the League and in their last 4 matches have scored 19 goals while conceding just 2. City have only lost once on the road this season and looking at their goal stats their away games have averaged 2.7 goals each and they scored 39 while conceding just 9 in 18 matches with a 50% split for over and under 2.5 goal backers.

City beat West Ham 2-1 at home earlier this season and last season this fixture finished 1-1.

West Ham 13/2

Draw 9/2

Manchester City 4/10

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester City (-1.5) at 1/1

I am sticking with the same bet as the Tottenham game as although West Ham look a potential banana peel for City, their form is currently too good in the League and I think they are going to win this one by a comfortable margin.
