We got 2022 off to a great start when our Western Province and Cheetahs double landed at just shy of 9/10. Unfortunately that was one of the few highs for me on a weekend where I continued what has been a pretty poor start to the year. I am really hoping that I can turn things around this weekend.
In Thursday’s THE HANDICAP Rugby Betting Show I was joined by The Conductor and @theCRowetips to talk Heineken Champions Cup and URC action. Unfortunately there was no URC Betting on the two local Derbies so we had to speculate a bit on the handicaps. SHARKS AND BULLS ON THE BOARD
Onto this weeks Best Bet and by the time the URC prices came out I was deep in meetings and could not grab any early value. I have decided to follow the same tactic as was used last week and that is to go for a win double of my 2 handicap fancies.
Money has come for both the Sharks (opened -1.5 now as big as 10.5) and the Bulls and I fancy both to win comfortably. The double is as short as 6/10 and is generally around 5/6 but there is 0.97/1 available at Playabets. If you miss that then there is just under 9/10 at Sunbet.
BEST BET: 5 units Sharks win (0.41) onto Bulls win (0.36) at 0.97/1 at Playabets – I don’t think this price will last too long
