India
India came up against arch rivals Pakistan in their opening match in Dubai last Sunday. They were short priced favourites in the early betting but crashed to a 10 wicket defeat. They lost both openers in the first 13 balls before Kohli (57) and then Pant (39) helped them to post 151/7, an innings of 4 maximums.
India must have thought they were back in the contest at the halfway stage but they failed to take a wicket with Jadeja the most economical bowler (4 overs 0/28) and Pakistan wrapped the chase up in 17.5 overs.
India had been 2/1 favourites to win the tournament before losing that first match and at the time of writing they could be backed at around 3/1
This was how India lined up last time out
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli (c), Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Varun Chakaravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah
New Zealand
New Zealand took their turn against Pakistan in their opening match in Sharjah on Tuesday and although that game was far closer, Pakistan again ran out winners, this time by 5 wickets. NZ lost the toss and were asked to bat first and they posted 134/8 with Mitchell and Conway top scoring with 27.
The Black caps had Pakistan at 87/5 after 14.5 overs and a tense finish looked likely but Pakistan cut loose and got up with 8 balls to spare. Sodhi (2/28) was top NZ wicket taker, Southee, Boult and Santner all claimed 1 wicket.
New Zealand are now trading at around 14/1 to win the tournament.

The Verdict
Neither side can afford to lose this so the pressure is on. India' bowlers were poor against Pakistan but will surely click back into something approaching decent form and they look to have more match winners with ball and bat.
I fancy India to hit the most sixes and I'll have a speculative Man of the Match play on Rishabh Pant.
Bets: Most sixes India at 8/10
Man of the Match Rishabh Pant at 10/1
