Arsenal

Arsenal came away from Newcastle with an excellent 2-0 win last weekend to keep themselves in the title race. City visit Everton on Sunday and they have a 1 point lead over the Gunners in the title race and the Manchester side also have a game in hand and a better goal difference. Arsenal therefore have no margin for error in their last 3 matches, this game followed by a trip to Forest and a home game against Wolves.

Arsenal's most recent home fixture delivered a comfortable 3-1 win over Chelsea which ended a 4 match winless run comprising of 3 draws and a defeat at home to Manchester City

Brighton

With games in hand Brighton are still very much in the mix for a Europa League spot as they enter a crucial week with this match followed by a visit to Newcastle on Thursday. As it stands they have the likes of Spurs and Villa for company whilst fifth placed Liverpool still have designs on gate crashing the top 4.

After a 1-0 home win over Manchester United just over a week ago it all went badly wrong for Brighton on Monday, thrashed 5-1 at home by relegation threatened Everton.

Recent Head to Head

The first league meeting between the sides this season took place on 31st December and Arsenal won 4-2 away from home.

Brighton did win an EFL Cup tie 3-1 on this ground in November although the personnel on view was very different for both sides

Last season Brighton were 2-1 winners in a league game at The Emirates and they drew 0-0 on the south coast.

The Verdict

Brighton are a great watch but they will have to get that horrible result against Everton out of their system whilst anything other than a home win for Arsenal will all but torpedo their hopes of the title.

First up I'm with Arsenal to score in both halves of football an for a goalscorer interest, Jesus is my go to man.
