arsenal1819Uefa Champions League Round 2 gets under way on Tuesday night when our focus is on Arsenal v PSG and Bayer Leverkusen v AC Milan

There are 9 matches on Tuesday's coupon and some really short priced favourites such as Barcelona (1/10 home to Young Boys), Inter (0.15/1 home to Red Star) and Man City (1/20 away to Slovan Bratislava). Let's focus on two of the more interesting match ups.

Arsenal 8/10 Draw 26/10 PSG 3.85/1 (BoyleSports)

Arsenal drew their opening match of the league format 0-0 at Atalanta. Given keeper Raya made a terrific double save, keeping out a penalty and the rebound it was probably a point won rather than 2 dropped in a game of few clear cut chances.

Arsenal have won 4 and drawn 2 of their first 6 EPL matches and are in third place, behind Manchester City on goal difference and 1 point shy of new leaders Liverpool. Most recently they needed 2 injury time goals to see off Leicester 4-2 in a home fixture.

Last season the Gunners made it to the quarter finals of the UCL where they lost 3-2 on aggregate to Bayern Munich.

A late own goal gave PSG a winning start to their UCL campaign, 1-0 at home to Girona. The visitors keeper made a meal of a late shot after PSG had dominated but failed to find a breakthrough.

PSG have won 5 and drawn 1 of the first 6 Ligue 1 matches and currently lead Monaco on goal difference. Their only dropped points came away to Reims in their penultimate league game and last weekend they were 3-1 winners at home to Rennes

Last season PSG came through the toughest of groups before beating Sociedad in the Round of 16 and edging an epic quarter final with Barcelona. Their journey ended at the semi final stage when they lost both legs to Dortmund by a 1-0 scoreline.

The Verdict

After letting a 2 goal lead slip Arsenal almost dropped the ball against Leicester at the weekend but they recovered to win and it's going to be very interesting to see how they get on against PSG.

After dropping points in the first round Arsenal could certainly use a win, I think they will get it but I'm looking to the home sides multi goals market and will go with them to score 2-3 in total.

Bets: Home team multi goals 2-3 at 23/20 with BoyleSports

Bayer Leverkusen 7/10 Draw 32/10 AC Milan 7/2 (Betway)

Last season's Europa League runners up and Bundesliga champions Leverkusen made short work of their visit to Feyenoord in the opening round. They came away with a 4-0 win with all the goals coming in the first half including a brace for Florian Wirtz.

In the Bundesliga Leverkusen have a record of 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat and they are in fourth spot. Their only loss came at home to RB Leipzig (3-2) and at the weekend they drew 1-1 away to Bayern Munich who top the log, 3 points clear of Leverkusen.

AC Milan went down 3-1 at home to Liverpool in their opening game. Christian Pulisic gave them a third minute lead but that was as good as it got for Milan who were 2-1 down by half time and conceded again in the second half.

After 6 Serie matches AC Milan are in third spot with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat, 2 points behind leaders Napoli. They took just the 1 point from their first 3 games but have won each of the last 3 including a 2-1 victory over Inter and most recently a 3-0 win at home to Lecce.

In the UCL last season AC Milan were drawn alongside Dortmund, PSG and Newcastle in the toughest of groups and they narrowly missed out on the knockout rounds after finishing third.

The Verdict

AC Milan have recovered from a poor start to their domestic season and the recent win over Inter takes the eye but they were no match for Liverpool in Round 1 and this is ultra tough.

Leverkusen were clinical against Feyenoord, Jeremie Frimpong is a player I have a lot of time for and he gets my vote to provide an assist here.

Bets: Player assists Jeremie Frimpong 1 or more at 7/2 with Betway
