Arsenal

The last 2 league games have seen Arsenal wobble for the first time this season. A 1-0 defeat at Everton was followed by last week's 1-1 draw at home to Brentford and their lead over City at the top of the log is now just 3 points. The Gunners do have a game in hand on City and aside from the Brentford match their only other dropped points at home this season came against Newcastle (0-0) in early January.

Arsenal are trading at 11/10 to win the title this season.

Man City:

City's most recent road trip ended in a 1-0 defeat at Spurs but they bounced back on Sunday with a 3-1 home win over Villa. They led that game 3-0 at half time and opted to bring Haaland off after he picked up a knock. Watch the media for news of his well being.

City have a better goal difference than Arsenal so victory here would see them take over at the top of the log and they are trading at 9/10 to win the title this season.

Recent Head to Head

The will be the first league meeting between the sides this season although City did win an FA Cup tie 1-0 in Manchester towards the end of January thanks to a second half goal from Nathan Ake.

Last season City won 2-1 at the Emirates and 5-0 in Manchester and they have won each of the last 10 EPL head to heads against Arsenal.

Arsenal are currently 1.85/1 to win the game with the draw at 24/10 and City can be backed at around 14/10

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 0.78/1 and it's 13/20 for both teams to score.

Haaland is 26/10 to score the first goal and 19/20 to score any time

Nketiah is 7/1 to score the first goal and 26/10 to score any time

The Verdict:

I'm open minded about the match result outcome but I do fancy goals even if Haaland doesn't start and my main play is for both teams to score in a game of 3 or more goals in total.

I'm also going to have a nibble at both teams to score in both halves at an attractive price.

For an anytime goalscorer, 9/2 for De Bruyne to pop up looks big enough to me.
