PalaceWeek 3 of English Premier League football gets under way on Saturday and we focus on Spurs v Wolves, Crystal Palace v Aston Villa, Fulham v Brentford and Bournemouth v Arsenal

Spurs 4/10 Draw 3.95/1 Wolves 69/10

Spurs have 4 points from 2 matches. They comfortably put Southampton away 4-1 on the opening weekend and then rescued a 2-2 draw from a trip to Chelsea with Kane equalizing in injury time.

Wolves have just the 1 point. They went down 2-1 at Leeds on the opening weekend and then played out a 0-0 draw at home to Fulham (who missed a penalty).

Verdict:

Wolves have won 3 of their last 4 visits EPL to Spurs but on the evidence of the first 2 rounds they will be up against it here. However they have just spent a club record fee on midfielder Matheus Nunes this week and I expect them to be pretty tough to beat.

I will go with Spurs to edge this one 2-1 or 1-0 to level stakes

Crystal Palace 15/10 Draw 23/10 Aston Villa 19/10

Palace took an excellent point from a visit to Liverpool on Monday. Zaha gave them the lead in the first half, their first goal of the new season but even though Liverpool went down to 10 men they couldn't hold on for the win. Palace started their campaign with a 2-0 defeat at home to Arsenal and after this they visit

Manchester City so this looks like their most realistic opportunity for maximum points in a tough set of early season fixtures.

After a really disappointing 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth on the opening weekend Villa opened their account with a 2-1 home win over Everton. Ings opened the scoring in the first half and Buendia added the second on 86 minutes before a Digne own goal gave Everton hope.

Verdict:

I think we are looking at 2 evenly matched sides here and after correctly calling a share of the spoils in 2 matches last week (Brighton v Newcastle and Chelsea v Spurs) I'm looking for another draw here.

Fulham 1.45/1 Draw 24/10 Brentford 19/10

Fulham started by holding Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage with Mitrovic on target twice, one a penalty. The same striker then missed from the spot in the stalemate at Wolves last weekend but they haven't looked out of place so far.

Brentford are unbeaten with 1 win and 1 draw. Last time out they were 4-0 winners at home to Manchester United with all the goals coming in the first half from 4 different sources. Ivan Toney and substitute Josh Dasilva rescued a point for Brentford in a 2-2 at Leicester on the opening weekend.

Verdict:

This is one of the lesser known London derby matches and one both sides will view as winnable. The respective coaches will be delighted with their unbeaten starts and I can't separate them so the draw is once again my play.

Bournemouth 6.43/1 Draw 3.75/1 Arsenal 0.42/1

Bournemouth turned Villa over 2-0 in their only home game so far but they had a tough time at Manchester City last week, going down 4-0.

Arsenal have been really impressive and they made it 2 wins from 2 when beating Leicester 4-2 at The Emirates last weekend. Jesus scored twice in the first half of that game, his first league goals for the club and he could have had more as Arsenal created plenty more chances.

The Gunners kicked off their season with a thoroughly deserved 2-0 win away to Palace. Martinelli and a late own goal sealed maximum points and they looked very tuned up for that opening match.

Verdict:

Arsenal and Manchester City are the only sides to boast a 100% record after just 2 rounds of matches and this looks like an ideal opportunity for Arsenal to extend their winning sequence.

The Gunners have won both their games so far by a 2 goal margin and I can see them coming out on top with a degree of daylight.

Bets: Handicap, Arsenal -1 goal at 11/10
