Nottingham Forest 10.5/1 Draw 5.25/1 Liverpool 1 / 4

Forest dug in for a 0-0 draw at Brighton in midweek. They remain in the drop zone with 6 points from 11 matches and their only point earned at home came in a 1-1 draw with Villa. After taking 4 points from their first 2 matches of the season Forest have added just 2 points from their next 8 outings. They lost 2-0 to Spurs here earlier in the season and Bournemouth and Fulham both won 3-2 at the City Ground.

Darwin Nunez gave Liverpool a 1-0 win over West Ham in midweek, their second successive victory after they edged out Manchester City by the same scoreline thanks to a Mo Salah goal last weekend. Liverpool are now up to seventh, still 11 points off the pace being set by Arsenal who beat them 3-2 in London in their most recent road trip. Their away form has plenty of scope for improvement after draws at Fulham (2-2) and Everton (0-0) and defeat at Manchester United (2-1).

Verdict:

As the match result betting suggests this ought to be straight forward enough for Liverpool. Darwin Nunez has kick started his Liverpool career and despite injuries to Diaz and Jota I fancy Liverpool will have too much for Forest. Nunez was subbed off early in midweek, presumably a precaution, and assuming he starts I fancy he will score in an away win.

Bets: Player to score and their team to win the match, Darwin Nunez? (yes) at 21/20

Everton 1.45/1 Draw 22/10 Crystal Palace 1.95/1

Everton went down 1-0 at Newcastle in midweek, a third successive defeat and they remain on 10 points from 11 matches. After draws with Forest and Liverpool at Goodison Park they beat West Ham 1-0 and their most recent home game ended in a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.

Palace were 2-1 winners at home to Wolves in midweek and they now have 13 points from 10 matches. They have yet to win away from home this season but they have drawn at Liverpool, Newcastle and Leicester and they lost 4-2 at Manchester City.

Verdict:

Palace have proved they can keep it tight away from home without always threatening to find the goals to turn 1 point into 3. There is plenty to like about their play and given Everton have lost their last 3 matches I will chance an away win.

Bets: Palace to win at 1.95/1

Chelsea 11/10 Draw 5/2 Manchester United 24/10

Chelsea let odds on favourite backers down when they were held to a 0-0 draw at Brentford in midweek. That ended a sequence of 5 straight wins across all competitions and they finished the round in fourth spot with 20 points from 10 matches, 7 behind league leaders Arsenal. At Stamford Bridge this season Chelsea have drawn with Spurs and beaten Leicester, West Ham and Wolves and all of those matches saw backers of over 2.5 goals collect.

United's 2-0 home win over Spurs in midweek was one of their better performances of the season and they are 1 point and 1 place behind Chelsea in the standings. Away from home they have 3 wins and 2 defeats against their name and those wins came at Southampton, Leicester and Everton who are all in the bottom half of the standings.

Verdict:

United's better results have arrived at Old Trafford this season and this is a big test. Chelsea have been keeping things tight at the back and gut feel here is this could be low scoring. I'm siding with a rare under 2.5 goals call.

Bets: Under 2.5 total goals at 9/10
