Brighton 4/10 Draw 39/10 Nottingham Forest 68/10

Brighton have yet to win since Graham Potter left to join Chelsea. Roberto de Zerbi, the new man in charge, saw his side play out a 3-3 draw at Liverpool before losing 1-0 at home to Spurs and last time out they went down 2-0 at Brentford. Given their excellent start they are still in seventh spot with 14 points from 9 matches and they have beaten Leicester (5-2) and Leeds (1-0) in earlier home games.

After taking 4 points from their first 2 matches of the season Forest have added just 1 point from their next 7 outings. They went down 1-0 at Wolves last weekend, a game where they missed a late penaalty and their only point (and goal) away from home came in a 1-1 draw at Everton in what was their second match since winning promotion last season. Forest come into the midweek program bottom of the log, behind Leicester on goal difference.

Verdict:

This looks like an opportunity for Brighton to get that first win under new management. Forest have spent big but few of those new arrivals have impressed and they need to turn things around quickly.

I'll go with 2-3 goals in total and additional interest comes in the shape of Alexis MacAllister, who has been a key man for Brighton, in the anytime goalscorer market.

Bets: Goal Range 2-3 at 1.07/1

Anytime goalscorer Alexis MacAllister at 2/1

Crystal Palace 1.22/1 Draw 2.27/1 Wolves 24/10

Palace have 10 points from 9 matches and are just below half way in the standings. They drew 0-0 at Leicester at the weekend whilst their most recent home fixture delivered a 2-1 win over Leeds and they also beat Villa (3-1) in an earlier home fixture.

Wolves moved out of the drop zone with that 1-0 win over Forest on Saturday. Their only other victory also came at home, 1-0 against Southampton and they have scored just 4 league goals this season whilst conceding 12. At the time of writing Wolves were still looking for a new coach and their away record comprises of 4 defeats and a 0-0 draw at Bournemouth.

Verdict:

The visitors have been so short of goals and I can understand why markets such as under 2.5 goals and both teams to score? (no) could be popular choices with punters. However Palace should view this as winnable and we might see a better game than the stats suggest.

Again I'm with 2-3 goals in total and for an anytime goalscorer pick, Eze, who was on target in the home win over Leeds recently gets the nod.

Bets: Goal Range 2-3 at 1.07/1

Anytime goalscorer Eze at 5.32/1
