Crystal Palace 21/20 Draw 5/2 Brentford 13/5

Palace were 2-0 up at half time away to Manchester City on Saturday but they were blitzed in the second half and eventually went down 4-2. That defeat leaves Palace on 4 points, their only win came at home to Villa (3-1), one earlier home game saw them go down 2-0 to Arsenal but they did take a point from a visit to Liverpool (1-1). Zaha was missing from the line up at the weekend so watch the media for news of his availability for this match.

Brentford scored a late equalizer in a 1-1 draw at home to Everton at the weekend. They have 5 points against their name following a 2-2 draw at Leicester and 4-0 hiding of Manchester United in a home fixture. Their only defeat came in Round 3 when they went down 3-2 away to Fulham. They fought their way back from 2-0 down in that game but conceded the decisive goal in injury time.

Verdict:

Brentford were unlucky not to beat Everton at the weekend and they have been good to watch so far. My concern is they have conceded 5 goals in 2 road trips including 3 at Fulham in another London derby and if Palace reproduce their performance in the home win over Villa then Viera's team will be a handful.

I like the look of Eze who is my any time goal scorer pick and I will also go with Palace to score 2 goals or more.

Bets: Home team total goals over 1.5 at 11/10

Anytime goalscorer Eze 21/5

Southampton 24/5 Draw 16/5 Chelsea 4/7

Southampton went down 1-0 at home to Manchester United on Saturday. Prior to that they were 2-1 winners at Leicester and their only other home game so far saw them hit back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Leeds. On the opening weekend the Saints crashed to a 4-1 defeat at Spurs so they have yet to keep a clean sheet.

Chelsea ground out a 2-1 home win over Leicester at the weekend, a game where Gallagher was red carded in the first half. The victory was much needed after a 3-0 loss at Leeds where they were also reduced to 10 men. Earlier results include a 2-2 draw at home to Spurs where they were pegged back in injury time and they started with a 1-0 win at Everton.

Verdict:

Chelsea are having problems keeping a full compliment of players on the pitch. Their quality should be ample enough to win this although Southampton did put in a decent shift at the weekend despite losing 1-0 to United.

I'll go with Chelsea to win by a single goal margin and after his performance against Leicester the 7/4 for Sterling to score any time looks more than fair to me.

Bets: Chelsea to win by 1 goal exactly at 11/4

Anytime goal scorer Sterling at 7/4
