Arsenal 0.47/1 Draw 36/10 Aston Villa 56/10

Arsenal finished the fourth round of matches at the top of the standings and the only side to boast a 100% record. They had to come from behind to see off a spirited Fulham side on Sunday with a 2-1 victory, adding to 3 point hauls at Bournemouth (3-0), at home to Leicester (4-2) and away to Palace (2-0).

Villa's early season fixture list looked pretty favourable but they have just the 1 win and 3 losses against their name. Defeats at Bournemouth (2-0), Palace (3-1) and most recently at home to West Ham (1-0) leave Villa with just the 3 points earned from a 2-1 home win over Everton in the second round of matches.

Verdict:

Arsenal have scored at least twice in all 4 of their matches and against a Villa side who looked in really poor shape against West Ham at the weekend I fancy the Gunners will be among the goals again here.

Preference is for the home team multi goals market and 2-3 in total is my pick. Bukayo Saka had arguably his best game for some time at the weekend and he gets the vote to pop up any time .

Bets: Home team multigoals 2-3 at even money

Any time goalscorer Saka at 1.95/1

West Ham 2.66/1 Draw 27/10 Spurs 0.97/1

West Ham's first points and first goal of the new Premier League season came at the fourth time of asking when Fornals scored the only goal of the game at Aston Villa on Sunday. Prior to that they lost at home to Manchester City and Brighton (both 2-0) and away to Forest (1-0). West Ham are still very active in the transfer market with Lucas Paqueta expected to complete a big money move from Lyon shortly.

Spurs remain unbeaten after a 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday where Harry Kane scored twice and also missed a penalty. Spurs finished last week as 1 of 3 clubs on 10 points, 2 behind the early pace setters Arsenal. They also beat Southampton 4-1 and Wolves 1-0 in earlier home fixtures and in their only other road trip so far they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Chelsea.

Verdict:

West Ham will take plenty from their win at Villa although it was a poor game and they still looked short of the sort of level we saw for the bulk of last season. That said Spurs have lost on their 2 previous EPL visits to this venue and whilst I would just about favour the visitors I will shy away from the match result market and go with 2-3 goals in total regardless of which team comes out on top.

Bets: Multigoals 2-3 at 19/20

Liverpool 3/10 Draw 47/10 Newcastle 7.75/1

After taking just 2 points from their first 3 matches Liverpool clicked into gear with a 9-0 demolition of Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday. They scored 5 goals in the first half and Firmino and Diaz both bagged a brace in the most one sided of contests but there was no goal for Mo Salah. Prior to that Liverpool had lost 2-1 at

Manchester United, drawn 1-1 at home to Palace and 2-2 at Fulham.

Newcastle salvaged a point with a late Saint Maximin volley at Wolves on Sunday. They also drew their only other road trip 0-0 at Brighton whilst a recent home game against Manchester City saw them threaten a surprise at 3-1 up but the game eventually finished all square at 3-3. A 2-0 home win over Forest on the opening weekend means they are unbeaten with 6 points from 4 matches.

Verdict:

Liverpool came up against a team who looked totally out of their depth at the weekend and I fancy Newcastle will give them a decent game.

I fancy both teams to score in a game of 3 goals or more in total.
