There is a full midweek program of English Premier League football to look forward to, four matches take place on Tuesday including Brentford v Man City and Forest v Liverpool
Prices from Sportingbet are correct at the time of publication but subject to change.
Brentford 7/2 Draw 34/10 Man City 13/20
Mid table Brentford lost their unbeaten home record when they went down 3-1 to Arsenal recently. They bounced back with a 5-0 win at Southampton but at the weekend they lost 1-0 at home to Plymouth in the FA Cup.
City have emerged from their slump in form with back to back league wins at Leicester (2-0) and at home to West Ham (4-1) but they are no higher than sixth and 12 points behind league leaders Liverpool who also have a game in hand. At the weekend they thrashed Salford 8-0 in the FA Cup.
The Verdict
City won the first league meeting this season 2-1 in Manchester and whilst Brent ford are a far better side at home than they are away I'm with City to score in both halves of football.
Bet: Man City to score in both halves? (yes) at even money with Sportingbet
Chelsea 0.62/1 Draw 33/10 Bournemouth 38/10
Chelsea are without a win in their last 4 league games, 2 draws and 2 defeats and they are fourth in the standings 10 points off the summit. Bournemouth are on an 8 match unbeaten run in the league and they are seventh, 4 points behind Chelsea.
The Verdict
Both sides had comfortable wins in the FA Cup at the weekend and Chelsea were 1-0 winners at Bournemouth in this first league meeting season. The last 14 Chelsea league games have seen backers of 2-3 goals in total collect on 11 occasions and that outcome covers a number of scorelines I can envisage here
Bet: Total goal bands 2-3 at 5/4 with Sportingbet
West Ham 1.75/1 Draw 5/2 Fulham 14/10
Graham Potter's first game in charge of West Ham saw them beaten 2-1 at Villa in the FA Cup. Prior to the change in coach they lost 5-0 at home to Liverpool and 4-1 away to Man City. West Ham are down in fourteenth position but still 7 points clear of the drop zone.
Fulham are unbeaten in their last 8 league games although 6 of those matches finished all square and they are ninth in the standings. They were 4-1 winners at home to Watford in the cup last time out.
The Verdict
The teams drew 1-1 at Craven Cottage earlier in the season and given Fulham have developed a draw habit another share of the spoils could well be the way to go here.
Bet: Match result draw at 5/2 with Sportingbet
Notts Forest 3.75/1 Draw 31/10 Liverpool 0.68/1
Forest have reeled off 6 straight league wins to rise to third, 6 points behind Liverpool and just behind Arsenal on goal difference. They won 1-0 at Anfield earlier in the season in an amazing season and have kept a clean sheet in each of their last 4.
Liverpool are 6 points clear in the title race with a game in hand. That home defeat to Forest is their only loss in the league this season although they drew 2-2 at home to Man United in their most recent EPL outing and also lost the first leg of their EFL Cup semi final at Spurs 1-0.
The Verdict
Forest have been amazing and although I believe they will be competitive and get on the scoresheet I will side with Liverpool to come out on top which brings the price boost onto the radar.
Bet: Liverpool to win and both teams to score? (yes) was 2/1 now 23/10 with Sportingbet
