Leicester

Leicester come into the game at the foot of the standings with just 1 point from their first 4 matches. Last time out they lost 2-1 at Chelsea who played an hour so with 10 men, after going 2-0 down they fought back and created plenty but Harvey Barnes goal proved to be no more than a consolation.

Leicester's only point came at home to Brentford on the opening weekend when they let a 2-0 lead slip against Brentford. They subsequently lost 4-2 at Arsenal and their most disappointing result was a 2-1 home defeat to Southampton.

Fofana is expected to complete his move to Chelsea any time now and key midfielder Maddison has been on the sidelines lately so watch the media for news of his well being.

Man United

United are turning things around. Last weekend they were 1-0 winners at Southampton with Fernandes scoring the only goal of the game in the second half. Prior to that they were full value for a 2-1 win at home to Liverpool with Sancho and Rashford the scorers.

After 2 awful performances in a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton and 4-0 hiding at Brentford things are looking up. Casimero has completed his move from Real Madrid and at the time of writing Anthony was expected to be the next headline recruit but not in time for this match. Ronaldo's future remains uncertain with the transfer deadline looming.

Recent Head to Head

Last season Leicester won this match 4-2 and the return at Old Trafford finished all square at 1-1.

Leicester are currently 24/10 to win the game with the draw at 11/4 and Man United can be backed at even money

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 6/10 and it's 11/20 for both teams to score.

Vardy is 4/1 to score the first goal and 14/10 to score any time

Rashford is 9/2 to score the first goal and 16/10 to score any time

The Verdict:

Leicester's start to the season has been poor but the trend for punters to latch on to has been high on and goals and both teams to score? (yes). That might well be the way to go again here although odds for that sort of outcome are on the short side.

I prefer the goal scorer markets and a player from each side to pop up any time. Vardy is one of the more obvious choices and Bruno Fernandes is my choice for the visitors after he opened his account last weekend.

Bets: Anytme goalscorer Vardy at 14/10

Anytme goalscorer Fernandes at 18/10
