SWEET THE SOUND produced an eye-catching debut effort over this C&D, six weeks ago. She moved up well and fought hard all the way to the line. The daughter of Rafeef would have come on with the run under her belt and should improve to go one better here.

WORLD RADAR was reported to be not striding out last time and that effort is best ignored. She returns from a 12-week break which may have done her the world of good. She has won three times from five starts over this C&D. The daughter of Soft Falling Rain is classy and if not in need of the run, she should return to winning ways.

SUGAR GUM was ultra-impressive when winning her last start over this C&D. She showed good speed that day and won with a ton in hand. She returns from a well-deserved 10-week break and if not in need of the run, she should take a power of beating.

ENCRYPTION has shown good improvement since relocating to the Eastern Cape. She was reported to be cut into and making an abnormal respiratory noise last time. She finished second in her only attempt on this course. It is encouraging that Luyolo Mxothwa steps back into the saddle and she may be the one to beat
