She was staying on strongly over the 1200M which would seem to indicate that she will enjoy the extra 200m on offer this afternoon. Lyle Hewitson takes over duties and will be hoping to add another winner to his credit in an attempt to secure his second SA champion jockey title.

KINGSTON is the only runner on the day from the Johan A Janse van Vuuren stable, but Anton Marcus has stuck with the ride, which may indicate that he was impressed with the geldings strong finish in his last start. He lost 2L at the start on the day, but still managed to chase down the pack to grab the win. The extra 200M seems sure to suit him.

ROY'S PHYSCO has consistent form to his name and did win his only start over the c&d. He will receive a 2.5kgs relief off his back thanks to his claiming appie and should make this count in the closing stages.

JACK OF HEARTS has finished close up in his last three outings, two of which were over this trip. With Anton Marcus on top and from a good draw, he looks to be the one to side with.

JO MAMBO won a good race with Lyle Hewitson on board last time out over ten furlongs and he has kept faith with the ride, which would seem to suggest that he liked what he felt. The 5yr old mare did win her only start over this trip and may well be good enough to follow that up today.
