BOLD RANSOM was a tad disappointing in his last start over six furlongs on the Turffontein Inside course. He was an impressive winner of his penultimate start over this distance. The son of Bold Silvano has ability and if suited to the track, he should find himself in the winner's enclosure.

HAWKER TYPHOON was ultra-impressive when winning her maiden over the minimum trip at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She takes a rise in class today, but she will be at home over the seven furlongs and looks to be above average. The daughter of Toreador jumps from a good draw and may be the one to side with.

SHARE HOLDER is the value bet on today's card. He has been taking on much stronger opposition in recent outings. He raced wide last time and lacked a finish up the straight. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Zoffany takes on weaker opposition today and with Lyle Hewitson up, he can cause the upset.
