Race 1:

SEVENTH SONG has good consistent form lines to his credit. He has finished second twice and third twice from five starts on this course. The son of Seventh Rock gets the blinkers fitted this afternoon which should keep his mind on the task at hand. He jumps from pole position and may be the one to side with.

BELLE OF BELIZE hails from the visiting Paul Peter stable. She is lightly raced with decent form to her credit. The daughter of Ideal World tries the polytrack and if suited to the surface, she should give the males a run for their money.

NO NAME BRAND has shown good improvement in his last two starts with the blinkers fitted. He jumps from a mid-field draw and cannot be ignored.

Race 2:

DIAMOND GIRL produced a promising debut effort over 1100m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She showed good speed that day, but found one too good in the form of her stable companion Duchess Of Sussex. The daughter of Philanthropist would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should go one better here.

GREEN DREAM ran a good race when finishing second in her comeback run over this C&D. It must be noted that the horse that finished fifth that day has come out and won since. She should strip much fitter today and should pose a threat.

INDIGO MOON should have won last time as she was awkwardly placed at the 800m mark. She has finished second four times from five starts over this C&D. Richard Fourie retains the ride and with a bit of luck in running, she should go close.

Race 3:

TOP ME UP HOLLY has run two good races with the blinkers fitted. She raced from a handy position last time, but found one too good in the form of Gypsy Magic. The daughter of Master Of My Fate is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. With a bit of luck from her wide draw, she can shed her maiden tag.

ROCK FLIGHT has finished second in her last three starts. She raced wide around the turn last time, but stayed on nicely at the finish. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

BALLYGOOD showed good improvement in her last start over a mile on this course. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day suggests she will enjoy the extra furlong on offer today. From her mid-field draw, she should have more to come.

Race 4:

BOARD MASTER lost a length at the start last time and was outpaced in the early stages. However, the manner in which he finished off his race was encouraging. The son of Master Of My Fate will love the step up to the mile. He is a temperamental type, but looks to have some ability and may be the one to cause the upset.

DEORSA was a tad disappointing in his last start. He gets the blinkers fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. He should enjoy the extra furlong on offer and must be included in all bets.

PREDATOR has some good recent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last start has come out and won since. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.

Race 5:

RALPH THE RASCAL has very good consistent form lines to his credit. He has won twice and finished second twice from eight starts on this course. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests he will enjoy the step up to the mile. From his good draw of two, he can return to winning ways.

GALWAY is a winner of his last three starts on this course. He returns from a well-deserved 14-week break. He is a horse with ability and if not in need of the run, he should give the top choice a run for his money.

TREAD SWIFTLY finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the tables.

Race 6:

AL'S MY DADDY was a tad disappointing in his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from seven starts over this distance. Anton Marcus takes the ride this afternoon and if repeating his penultimate run, he should be the one to beat.

MONARCHY was not disgraced when finishing fourth against stronger last time. He returns from a 14-week break, which may have done him the world of good. He drops in class and if not in need of the run, he should run a big race.

SEA MASTER has finished second in his last two starts. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should feature.

Race 7:

KINGS ROAD finished 1.95 lengths behind SAVIOUR last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won twice and finished second once from four starts over this C&D. From pole position, he can get back to winning ways.

SHINNECOCK finished 1.05 lengths behind SAVIOUR in the race referred to above. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and should get the better of his conqueror today.

VALIENTE finished 1.75 lengths behind SAVIOUR last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Race 8:

RACHEL finished 0.2 lengths behind HAMSA GROVE last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights and there should not be much separating the pair this afternoon. She has won once, finished second twice and third three times from seven starts over this distance. From her good draw of four, she may be the one to side with.

HAMSA GROVE produced a very good comeback run over this C&D last time. She should strip much fitter today and if switching off early, she should pose a threat to the top choice.

SOMEONE EXCITING was doing her best work late over 1000m on the turf last time. It is encouraging that Anton Marcus retains the ride and the combination cannot be ignored.

Race 9:

SHAMPOMPO SHAMPIZI was ultra-impressive when winning on debut over 1000m on the turf. He raced green in running, but the manner in which he finished off his race was eye-catching. The son of Var should have no issues with the step up in distance. He takes on stronger, but could be anything and may be up to the task at hand.

SOVEREIGN SOLDIER has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. All four of his career victories have come on this course and he merits healthy respect.

BERNIE'S DREAM moved up like a winner last time, but was outrun in the latter stages. His wide draw is a slight concern but with a bit of luck in running, he should give a good account of himself
