PORT ADELAIDE has run two good races since winning her maiden. She lost a length at the start over the mile last time, but stayed on nicely to finish third. The daughter of Adelaide will love the rise to 2000m and with just 51kgs on her back, she may be the one to side with.
HEARTSEASE won a good race in her last start, despite reported to be distressed. The daughter of Elusive Fort takes a slight rise in class, but she is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand.
QUE FOR YOU is the stable companion of the top choice. She has won twice and finished second twice from seven starts over this distance. She is likely to have her own way in front once again and may be hard to peg back.
Race 4
PACIFIC WINTER showed good pace in his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville but lacked extra late. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He won his penultimate run over this C&D with ease and with the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Donald Geerthsen, he can notch up his third career victory.
LESLIES PATHTOFAME finished 3.7 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.
