TRIPPIN THE STARS has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She raced wide around the turn last time, but stayed on at the business end. It must be noted that the form of that race has worked out well. The daughter of Trippi gets the blinkers fitted and if the headgear has the desired effect, she should find herself in the winner's enclosure.

POLICY TARGET has finished second in his last three starts. He was his own worst enemy last time as he overraced in the early stages. The son of Master Of My Fate will enjoy the drop to the mile and should be at peak fitness. From his mid-field draw, he can shed his maiden tag.

DREAM DESTINY lost three lengths at the start last time, but the manner in which he finished off his race caught the eye. He has won once and finished second once from four starts on this course. Lyle Hewitson takes the ride and if jumping on terms, he will be mowing down the frontrunners in the run down to the line.

STAR OF JOBURG should have finished much closer last time as he had to be eased at the 200m mark. He did not have much luck in his penultimate run either as he had to be steadied and switch at the 200m mark. The 6yo gelding won his only attempt over this distance and takes a drop in class. With a bit of luck in running, he can notch up his third career victory
