TRIP OF FORTUNE stayed on nicely to finish second on debut over 1200m on this course. The son of Trippi found betting support that day which suggests that he had been showing good work back at home. He should have no issues with the drop in distance and with Keagan de Melo in the saddle, he can improve to win in this type of field.

WARRIOR was given a peach of a ride when winning the Grade 3 Variety Club Mile last time. The son of Futura looks to have plenty of ability and should love the rise to the 1800m. He should notch up his fourth victory in a row.

With a bit of luck from her wide draw, she may be the one to cause the upset
