PERFECT PRINCESS ran a decent race on debut over the minimum trip on this course. She understandably raced green that day, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Captain Al would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should win this.

TROOP THE COLOUR has good consistent form lines to his credit. He was not disgraced when finishing third in the PE Gold Cup last time. The 6yo gelding has won once and finished third twice from six starts over this C&D. Oswald Noach steps back into the saddle today and he can notch up his third career victory.
