Race 1:

POPPY OF BAYEUX has finished third in both her efforts to date. She lost a length at the start last time, but stayed on strongly at the finish. The daughter of William Longsword looks to have ability and if jumping on terms, she should shed her maiden tag. 

DANSE MILORD has decent form lines to her credit. She has finished second twice from three starts on this course. Warren Kennedy takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most. 

GIMME A LULLABY finished 2.3 lengths behind the top choice on debut. She was squeezed at the start but once finding her feet, she finished her race off well. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience and should make the natural improvement.

Race 2:

DARJEELING produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1200m at Kenilworth. He should have won that day as he clipped heels at a crucial stage in the race. It must be noted that Masked Vigilante has come out and won again since. The son of Rafeef will love the extra furlong on offer and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating. 

AJ'S CAPTAIN produced a promising debut effort over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville against winners. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. The son of Futura would have come on with the run under his belt and he should make the natural progression. 

RODRIGUEZ produced a fair debut effort over 1000m. The manner in which he finished off his race that day suggests he will enjoy the rise in distance. Craig Zackey takes the ride and he should improve to earn a cheque. 

Race 3:

CASIMIRO was squeezed at the start last time and may have cost himself winning as he hung in the latter stages. He has finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this C&D. The son of Mogok gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. If keeping on a straight line, he should shed his maiden tag. 

GIMME A RAINBOW'S last three starts over 1400m on the Polytrack have been good. He is suited to this distance and should be one of the leading contenders. 

TRUMPET VOLUNTARY ran a good race when finishing third in his last start under Richard Fourie. He has finished second twice and third once from five starts over this C&D. The son of Noble Tune merits obvious inclusion. 

Race 4:

This is a competitive Pinnacle Stakes field and caution is advised. The narrow first selection is CARTEL CAPTAIN from the Dennis Drier stable. He showed good speed in the Grade 2 Diadem Stakes last time, but was outrun in the latter stages. He has won once and finished third once from four starts over this C&D. Sean Veale steps back into the saddle and the combination may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line. 

ULTRA MAGNUS is much better than his last start in the Grade 1 Cape Flying Championship. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from five starts over this C&D. If not in need of the run, he should pose a threat. 

MOMBELA'S last two starts on the Highveld have been fair. His record over 1200m is decent having won once, finishing second three times and third once from nine attempts. If all went well with his travels, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 5:

BAYBERRY was ridden to perfection when winning the Listed Kenilworth Cup last time. The cheek pieces have done the trick with the son of Flower Alley. He does have a wide draw to overcome, but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle. 

MARCHINGONTOGETHER has some decent recent form lines to his credit. He has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts over this distance. On best form shown, he should run a big race. 

ANSE LAZIO is much better than his last start suggests. He returns from a 16-week break today which may have done him the world of good. He won his only attempt over this C&D and cannot be ignored.

Race 6:

SHE'S A KEEPER has been ultra-impressive in her last two victories at Hollywoodbets Greyville. She took the lead at the 250m mark last time and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight should have no issues with the rise in distance and with a bit of luck from her wide draw, she can notch up the hat-trick. 

PREFERENTIAL has top consistent form lines to her credit. She is unbeaten from two starts over this C&D. She faces her toughest test to date, but is in a good space and may be up to the task at hand.

HEART STWINGS' last three starts in Gauteng have been decent. She will race from a positive position and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Race 7:

CROWN TOWERS was impressive when winning his last start over a mile at Hollywoodbets Greyville. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Camelot is in a good space and should take a power of beating. 

RASCALLION has very good consistent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. He won his only attempt on this course and if putting his mind on the task at hand, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice. 

AZORES has good recent form lines to his credit. The manner in which he finished off his race last time was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Keagan de Melo knows him well and the pair merit healthy respect. 

Race 8:

This is a competitive Merit Rated 67 Handicap and caution is advised. The narrow first selection is DEERUPT from the Peter Muscutt stable. The manner in which she ran on over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville was encouraging. She has won once and finished second four times from eight starts over this distance. She is having her peak run today and should give the males a run for their money. She is carded to race on 15 April 2021 and her progress in that race will need to be checked. 

SAIPAN showed good signs of a form return last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fifth that day has come out and won since. If confirming his recent improvement, he should go close. 

ALFONSA SPAGONI received a bump at the start last time, but stayed on nicely at the finish. His record over this distance is a concern, but he gets the services of Richard Fourie and can run into the money. 

Race 9:

FLASHY KAITRINA was not disgraced when finishing fourth in the Listed Kwa-Zulu Natal Stakes last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. She drops in class today and Anton Marcus may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most. 

SEEMYVISION looked a winner in her last start, but was outrun in the latter stages. If repeating that effort today, she should be one of the leading contenders. 

MISS GENEROSITY finished 1.1 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and she may have to settle for the same result
