COLOUR OF MONEY is an unraced son of Gold Standard from the Yogas Govender yard with Ashton Arries in the saddle. He is related to five-time winner Phil’s Dancer. If not too green, he should get his career off to a positive start.
PARIS PIKE is a son of Erupt from the Robbie Hill yard with Anton Marcus doing duty. He is related to multiple winners including Radiant Love and Unconditional Love.
Race 2
MY ELOUISE should have won on debut as she shifted away from the crop and brushed the inside running rail at the 100m mark. She found betting support that day which suggests that she was showing good work at home. The daughter of Great Britain would have gained from the experience and with Anton Marcus in the saddle, she can improve to win.
DEMIGOD was doing her best work late over this distance on the polytrack last time. She is having her second run after a rest and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Var looks progressive and is one of the leading contenders.
YATA was a tad disappointing in her last start over this distance on the polytrack. Her penultimate run when finishing second behind Our Emily was eye-catching. She may be a better horse on the grass and cannot be ignored.
Race 3
ALL THE TIME has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He challenged strongly in his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville, but found one too good in the form of Tuk Tuk. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and in this type of field, he should shed his maiden tag.
LIKETHECLAPPERS is an unraced son of Pomodoro from the Duncan Howells yard with Muzi Yeni in the saddle. He is related to four-time winner Ikigai and he does not need to be a stable superstar to win in this type of field. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.
GLOBAL VISION’S last two starts on the Highveld were fair. He is having his first run for the Mike Miller stable. He would have strengthened up during his time off the track and in this line-up, he should fight out the finish.
Race 4
GIAMBATTISTA showed good improvement when finishing second behind Love On Time over 1200m on the polytrack. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of Wylie Hall is a progressive type and if suited to the turf, he should go one better in this line-up.
DISPLACE TIME should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung from the 200m mark. He will enjoy the extra 100m on offer and if all went well with his travels, he should pose a massive threat.
ADMIRAL BIRNHAM has shown some improvement in his last two starts over 1400m on the Polytrack. He raced wide around the turn last time, but stayed on nicely at the finish. Keagan de Melo takes the ride aboard the son of Admiral Kitten and from draw two, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 5
PURPLE FLAME followed up his maiden win with a good second-place finish in the Listed Model Man Mile last time. He finished 1.6 lengths behind HASTA MANANA that day and is 3kgs better off at the weights. He is the best-weighted runner in this contest and if suited to this track, he should be the one to beat.
HASTA MANANA was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start. He has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts on this course. If switching off early, he can follow up.
TARANTINO won a good race over 1200m at Fairview Racecourse last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He tries the 1500m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be competitive.
Race 6
PARK AND FLY has shown good improvement in her last two starts with the blinkers fitted. She ran on strongly when finishing second over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The daughter of Oratorio will enjoy the step back up to 1950m and with a bit of luck from her wide draw, she should go one better.
NAME OF THE GAME has finished second in her last two starts. She was running on too late when second behind Tostada last time. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will love the rise to 1950m. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
AMBLE INN is much better than her last start at Hollywoodbets Greyville. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. Her two previous efforts when finishing second on this course catch the eye. From her mid-field draw, she should go close to winning.
Race 7
KEEP ON DANCING was in need of her comeback run over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The 5yo mare has won four times and finished third once from six starts on this course. She should strip a much fitter horse today and can return to winning ways.
LA QUINTA should have finished closer last time as she had to switch at the 300m mark. She has won twice from four starts over this distance. She should strip much fitter and with a bit of luck, she should be one of the leading contenders.
GEORGINA ROSE is much better than her last start as she was reported to be coughing. She returns from a 17-week break which may have done her the world of good. If not in need of this outing, she should run into the placings.
Race 8
SOLID GOLD set the pace in his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville and kept finding all the way to the line. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won three times from six starts on this course. He is the best weighted runner in this contest and should notch up his ninth career victory.
HUGS ACCEPTED returns from a 22-week break and makes her seasonal debut. She has won twice and finished second once from as many starts over this distance. If not in need of this outing, she should give the males a run for their money.
RIVERSTOWN hails from the visiting Paul Peter stable. He should have finished closer to Battle Force last time as he hung in the latter stages. If putting his best foot forward, he should fight out the finish.

CRESTED EAGLE was not disgraced when finishing fifth over 1400m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. The son of Crusade won his only attempt over this C&D. He makes his Handicap debut this afternoon and may be the one to side with.
