CAPE LIGHTS has finished second in her last three starts. She raced from a handy position over 1800m last time, but was outrun late by Lady Regent. The daughter of Ideal World tries the 2000m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she may be rewarded for consistency.

JOHNNY DOGS was not disgraced when finishing fourth in a Sales race over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He returns to the Highveld and takes a drop in class. He jumps from a good draw of four and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
