The daughter of What A Winter is the best-weighted runner in this contest and should strip a much fitter horse. She may be hard to peg back in the run down to the wire.

HERSTEL is one of the better bets on today's card. She ran on powerfully to win her last start over the minimum trip at Turffontein. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Captain Of All should have no issues with the extra furlong on offer and should take a power of beating.
