The SA T20 League marches on and Saturdays first game takes place in Paarl with the Royals up against MI Cape Town and both sides could do with a win.

The Paarl Royals are on 9 points after 5 matches and they currently sit 4th on the log and are priced at 5/1 to win the tournament while MI Cape Town are in 3rd also on 9 points from 5 games but they are slightly shorter in the betting at 4/1.

PAARL ROYALS

The Paarl Royals were in action on Thursday against the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. They lost the toss and were sent in to bat reaching a disappointing 127/7 off their 20 overs. Wihan Lubbe top scored with 28 off 21 balls. The Sunrisers got up with 9 balls and 5 wickets to spare and Fortuin was the pick of the Royals bowlers with 3/20 off 4 overs.

MI CAPE TOWN

MI Cape Town also played the Sunrisers in their last match at Newlands on Wednesday. MI Cape Town were sent into bat and some heavy hiiting by Roelofsen 56 (36) late on saw them reach 171/6. The Sunrisers always looked under pressure but came from nowhere to win thanks to a sensational innings by Marco Jansen. Rabada with 3/34 off 4 overs was the pick of the bowlers.

Paarl Royals 11/10

MI Cape Town 8/11

Suggested Bet: Paarl Royals win at 11/10

Both teams know that a loss would put them under pressure in the 2nd half of the competition and I think the Royals are worth a punt at 11/10 on home turf.

Suggested Bet: Top Royals Bowler Fortuin at 26/10

He bowls upfront and the opposition need to have a go at him in the power play and this can lead to wickets.
