The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for 18th to 20th June and a 26.4/1 weekend acca with @Playabets
The title of this week’s Citizen Blog powered by Playabets is “It is only value when you bank it” and of course this reflects on last weeks financial disaster on the Crusaders game against the Rebels. I had highlighted the (-26.5) points as my best bet in the Newsletter, but when I sensed the Highlanders were going to get their bonus point win, I posted on the Goodforthegame Forum that the market were going to move and naturally took more (-26.5) and also (-30.5) at a price of 5/4.
I did not realise the market would move as much as it did and the match started at Crusaders (-39.5) and when they led by 14 points after a few minutes I was mentally banking this one. Somehow they allowed the Rebels to score 26 points themselves though and the bet lost by the narrowest of margins and I don’t think I will ever forget or forgive that Crusaders forward for the double movement that cost them the try.
Anyway on to a new week and it is time to put last weekend’s memories to bed.
THE HANDICAP “Rugby chat that matters”
We had an excellent rugby betting chat last night where I was joined on the THE HANDICAP by @OraclePedia @theCRowetips and @ThoughtsOnSports. We covered the Currie Cup which gets going this weekend as well as the Rainbow Cup Final between Benetton and the Bulls and the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman Final between the Blues and the Highlanders.
We also took a look at some of the other European Rugby taking place this weekend and touched on the Lions Tour to South Africa and the current betting at the end of the show.

Vive la France!
The bookies are really slow out of the blocks with points lines this week and I am turning my attention to the football this weekend for my best bet.
France are tournament favourites and edged past Germany 1-0 in their opening match in the group of death. Hungary lost 3-0 to Portugal and I cannot see them living with the French who will be looking to ensure qualification.
I am backing the French to win by more than a goal.
