SATURDAY

CHIPPA UNITED v KAIZER CHIEFS

Chippa United are currently 13th on the table and by no means out of danger of being relegated. Their last action was a goalless draw away at Marumo Gallants in mid-March and their last home game was a 3-2 defeat to the same Marumo Gallants at the end of February.

Chippa United have a terrible home record this season failing to win in 10 attempts with 7 draws and 3 defeats and those home games averaged just 1.8 goals each with 40% of the games delivering a profit had you backed over 2.5 goals.

Kaizer Chiefs are currently 3rd on the table 16 points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, but with 3 games in hand. Their hopes of making a comeback into the title race took a dent last time out however when they lost 1-0 at home to Arrows, but their last 2 away games were victories over Pirates and Baroka and they have a pretty decent away record this season with 5 wins, 4 draws and just 2 defeats in 11 matches. The question is, would you have got wealthy going over 2.5 goals in Kaizer Chiefs away games? The answer is most definitely not as only 3 of the 11 matches have reached the 3 goal mark.

Kaizer Chiefs won the reverse fixture 4-0 at home and last season it was the away team that won 1-0 on each occasion.

Chippa United 28/10

Draw 2/1

Kaizer Chiefs 5/4

Suggested Bet: Kaizer Chiefs win at 5/4

Kaizer Chiefs have an excellent record against Chippa United and while both teams will be desperate for the points I think Chiefs have the class to take 3 points on the road.

GOLDEN ARROWS v SUPERSPORT UNITED

Golden Arrows are currently 11th on the table with 2 wins in their last 3 starts. Their last home game though was a 2-1 defeat by Chippa United and they have only won 1 of their last 5 home matches. Arrows home games have a 50% split between over and under 2.5 goals.

SuperSport United have slipped to 7th on the table with just 1 win in their last 5 starts. Last time out they drew 1-1 away at TS Galaxy and they have only won 3 times in 11 attempts on the road this season. SuperSport’s 11 away matches have seen over 2.5 goal backers collect profits 5 times.

SuperSport won the reverse fixture 3-1 and Golden Arrows won this fixture 3-1 last season.

Golden Arrows 17/10

Draw 2/1

SuperSport United 19/10

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 29/20

The PSL is not the League to chase over 2.5 goals, but at the prices this week I can’t resist, especially when I look at the head-to-head form between the sides in recent years with 4 goals scored in 2 of the last 3 meetings between the two.

SUNDAY

CAPE TOWN CITY v BAROKA

Cape Town City are up to 5th on the table having won 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5 matches and last time out they beat Marumo Gallants 1-0 at home and overall at home they have won 6, drawn 4 and only lost once this season. Cape Town City home matches have averaged 2.3 goals each with 6 of the 11 games failing to reach the 3 goal mark.

Baroka are rock bottom of the table, but got a much needed victory last time out beating TS Galaxy 1-0 at home. That broke a run of 4 matches without a win in 3 successive defeats. Baroka have yet to win in on the road this season, drawing 2 and losing 9 and although Baroka away matches have averaged 2.5 goals each with slightly more than 50% reaching the 3 goal mark, Baroka themselves have only scored 6 times in 11 road trips.

Cape Town City 8/10

Draw 12/5

Baroka 4/1

Suggested Bet: Cape Town City win at 8/10

I am going to keep this simple. Cape Town City are playing well and they have got a good home record and they are playing against a side that has lost 9 of the 11 away matches this season.
