BettingDiaryWe take a look at the 4 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and suggest a bet in each.

WOLVES v ASTON VILLA – Click here to bet

Wolves are currently 10th on the table with 17 points from their 11 matches. They were hammered 4-0 by Liverpool on Sunday, but stunned Arsenal 2-1 on the road the week before. They have taken 8 points from a possible 15 at home.

Aston Villa are 12th on the table, but they have lost 4 of their last 5 matches and they are coming off back-to-back defeats away at West Ham and at home to Brighton. They have something in common with Wolves as they beat Arsenal on the road a few games back, 3-0.

BETTING

Wolves 13/10

Draw 23/10

Aston Villa 9/4

Suggested Bet: Wolves win at 13/10

Villa appear to be on the slide and Wolves did the double over them last season and I am backing them to win again.

NEWCASTLE UNITED v WEST BROM - Click here to bet

Newcastle are 13th on the log and they are coming off a 2-0 away win over Crystal Palace. They have won 2 out of 5 home matches this season losing the other 3. Newcastle home games have averaged 3.4 goals each this season.

West Brom are second from bottom on the table with just 1 win in their opening 11 matches of the season. They lost 5-1 at home to Crystal Palace last time out and on the road have taken just 1 point from a possible 15, scoring 3 goals and conceding 11.

BETTING

Newcastle 5/4

Draw 23/10

West Brom 12/5

Suggested Bet: Total goals aggregated 2-3 goals at 9/10

This bet would have arrived in Newcastle’s last 5 games and I am looking for 6 in a row.

MANCHESTER UNITED v MANCHESTER CITY – Click here to bet

The Manchester Derby sees United sitting 6th on the log 1 point ahead of City with both teams having played 10 matches. United were dumped out of the Champions League in midweek, but their League form has been excellent with 4 successive victories including come from behind wins over West Ham and Southampton on the road. Their home form as let them down this season and they have only won 1 of their opening 5 home matches and that came last time out against West Brom where they edged 1-0.

City are coming off back-to-back victories over Fulham and Burnley at home, but on the road they have only won 2 of their 5 games and last time out lost 2-0 away at Tottenham. They were too strong for Marseille at home in midweek in the Champions League and have comfortably qualified for the last 16.

Manchester United won this fixture 2-0 last season and that broke a run of 4 successive matches where the away team won this fixture in League and Cup competitions.

BETTING

Manchester United 71/20

Draw 63/20

Manchester City 15/20

Suggested Bet: Manchester City win at 15/20

I hadn’t looked at the betting while doing the preview and was going to go with the City win, I will stick to that although I was hoping for around the even money market. I feel United are a side which have been fortunate to win their last 2 and will be exposed by a better Manchester City team.

EVERTON v CHELSEA – Click here to bet

It will be a cracking match to end our Saturday action with Everton 9th on the table, but in poor form having only taken 4 points from the last 15 they have played for. Chelsea have no such worries and they have taken 13 of the last 15 they have competed for.

Everton have hit a poor run of form at home losing 2 and drawing 1 of their last 3 and their last home game was a 1-0 defeat to Leeds.

Chelsea are undefeated on the road with 3 wins and 2 draws in 5 matches. Their last away game was a comfortable 2-0 win over Newcastle.

BETTING

Everton 16/5

Draw 61/20

Chelsea 8/10

Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 8/10

I really like the way Chelsea are playing at the moment and Everton look to be struggling.
