Palace are 11^th on the table and have been a real mixed bag in recent weeks with 2 wins and 3 defeats. Their last win was a crushing 5-1 victory away at West Brom, but their last home game was a 2-0 loss to Newcastle.

Tottenham are top of the table on goal difference over Liverpool and they are coming off a convincing 2-0 home win over Arsenal. They have won 4 and drawn 1 of their 5 away matches and that draw came in their last trip which was to Chelsea and that match finished goalless. Under 2.5 goals would have arrived in Tottenham’s last 4 matches.

Palace are certainly capable of pushing Tottenham, but the way Mourinho’s men are playing at the moment I am happy to take the 8/10 they keep the pressure on Liverpool.

Fulham are 17^th on the table with 7 points from their 11 matches. They were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City away last time out but beat Leicester on the road before that. They have only won once in 5 starts at home and that victory came against fellow-strugglers West Brom.

Liverpool are 2^nd on the table level on points with leaders, Tottenham and they put in their best performance for some time when they beat Wolves 4-0 at home last time out. The Reds have struggled on the road though, winning 1 and drawing 3 of their 5 matches and their last 3 away games have all been draws.

For this bet to arrive I need Liverpool to win by more than a goal and given they were able to rest key players in Europe in midweek I think they will be up for this and will win comfortably.

Arsenal are battling down in 15^th position at the moment and have only taken 1 point from the last 12 they have played for in the League. They were beaten 2-0 away by Tottenham last time out and their last 3 home games have seen them lose to Wolves, Aston Villa and Leicester.

Burnley are battling as well though and are 18^th on the log with just 1 win in their last 5 matches. They did hold Everton to a 1-1 draw at home last time out, but have yet to win on the road in 5 attempts.

For this bet to arrive I need Arsenal to win by 1 goal exactly so a repeat of last season’s 2-1 score line would be welcome. 6/10 Arsenal to win outright is a bit short for me given their current form, but I expect them to scrape home against a poor Burnley side.

Leicester head into the weekend 4^th on the table and they broke a 2 match losing run last time out when they beat Sheffield United 2-1 on the road. Their last home game though was a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Fulham.

Brighton have only won 1 of their last 9 matches and they sit 16^th on the log, 11 points behind Leicester. They have won 2 out of their 5 away matches this season including beating Villa 2-1 in their last road trip.
