BettingDiaryThere are plenty of postponements in the English Premier League this weekend and we focus on the two matches taking place on Sunday and suggest a bet in each.

A reminder that you can get updated betting on all the long term markets including, of course, the Title Winner where Manchester City are currently trading as short price favourites.

Brentford v Arsenal – Click here to bet

Brentford are currently sitting mid-table and they are undefeated in their last 3 matches, last time out beating Leeds 5-2 at home. Brentford matches have averaged 4 goals each this season with 4 of the 6 games delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers and both teams have found the net in the last 4 Brentford matches.

Arsenal saw their 100% start to the season end last time out when they lost 3-1 away at Manchester United. Their 5th successive Arsenal game that has reached at least the 3 goal mark. In their two previous away matches they have beaten Bournemouth 3-0 and Crystal Palace 2-0. Both teams have found the net in 4 out of the last 5 Arsenal League matches.

Brentford won this fixture 2-0 last season and the Gunners bounced back to win the reverse fixture 2-1 at home.

I think Brentford are an excellent price at 16/5 to win at home here, but I am going to take the more conservative view and back them on the handicap meaning this bet will arrive if there is a draw or if Brentford win.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Brentford +0.5 goals at 1/1

Everton v West Ham – Click here to bet

Everton are currently sitting 16th on the log and they have yet to win in 6 matches this season and have drawn their last 4 games. Their most recent draw was a goalless encounter at home to Liverpool and they have only taken 1 point from a possible 9 at home this season. Under 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in 5 of the 6 Everton matches this season.

West Ham are currently 18th and occupying the final relegation spot with just 1 win in their opening 6 games. Last time out they were beaten 2-1 away at Chelsea, but their only victory did come on the road this season 1-0 at Aston Villa. West Ham games have also been low scoring and under 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in 5 of the 6 matches involving West Ham this season.

Looking at the head-to-head form between the sides, West Ham did the double over Everton last season winning this fixture 1-0 and winning 2-1 at home.

Under 2.5 goals certainly look the viable option here at 8/10 given the head-to-head records between the sides and their form this season, but it is West Ham, with their strong record away at Everton and having won their last 2, that gets the nod from me here to grab all 3 points.

Suggested Bet: West Ham win at 15/10
