The Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte North Carolina plays host to the 14th Presidents Cup and the home team are massive favourites to make it 8 from 8 on US soil. We take a look at some of the betting options available to punters.
The Course
Quail Hollow is a par 71 layout and generally favours those that are long off the tee. Accuracy is also important though and it certainly is one of the more challenging layouts on tour where finding the Greens in Regulation is also critical.
Format
The event is played over 4 days and 15.5 points are required for victory with 4 games having been knocked off starting with the 2015 edition. On the opening day there are 5 fourball matches and the 2nd day consists of 5 foursomes matches. Saturday will see 4 matches of each format and on Sunday there are 12 singles matches.

US Team
All 12 of the US team rank in the top 25 in the World and LIV Golf has not hit them as hard as their opponents.
Click here to bet on the Top US Points scorer betting where Schauffele and Scheffler top the betting boards at 11/2.
International Team
On paper this is the weakest line up I have seen – I made the same comment in the 2017 preview.

Selections:
Top International points scorer Corey Conners at 7/1
Conners has impressed me this year and had some pretty consistent form before a missed cut in his last start. He has not done anything great around this course but I just have a feeling that he is going to be the Internationals best player.
Top US points scorer Schauffele at 11/2
He has been in cracking form with a 6th and a 3rd place finish in his last 2 starts. He was also top 15 on this course last year and he should form a lethal pairing with Cantlay.
Overall Correct Score USA 20-10 at 12/1
I suspect we are heading for a new record and if so this speculative play should give me some interest.
