WSB Logo Orange 80x80Max Verstappen goes in search of his 4th Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday and we take a look at the final race of the season from a betting angle.

Championship Update

There was no surprise in the first ever Las Vegas Grand Prix with Max Verstappen claiming yet another victory ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in an open race. We had suggested a win bet on Leclerc so there was money back in the form of free bets for those who took advantage of the promo and our main play was Leclerc to podium so a pretty decent weekend all around. Sergio Perez, Verstappen’s teammate completed the podium, Leclerc had qualified in pole and Oscar Piastri got the fastest lap.

The only long-term markets of interest as far as the betting perspective goes is “to finish 2nd in the Constructors Championship” where Ferrari are now 17/20 and Mercedes are 1/1 – Click here to bet

Heading into the last race of the season Mercedes hold a narrow 4 point lead over Ferrari who carry better form into this race.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

As mentioned above Max Verstappen goes for his 4th successive Abu Dhabi Grand Prix victory and last year he qualified in pole position before beating Charles Leclerc into 2nd place. Verstappen’s teammate, Perez finished 3rd. Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the most wins by a single driver with 5, but his last victory in this race came back in 2019.

Max Verstappen 3/10

Lando Norris 14/1

Sergio Perez 16/1

Charles Leclerc 18/1

Lewis Hamilton 20/1

25/1 and better the balance, all prices correct at the time of writing but are subject to change

VERDICT

Leclerc has had 2 podium finishes in his last 3 starts and he really gave Max Verstappen a run for his money in Vegas. It is very hard to see Verstappen getting beaten, but at 18/1 I can’t resist a play on Leclerc and there is a money back insurance with World Sports Betting should he finish 2nd.

Suggested Bet: Leclerc win at 18/1

Like last week though my main bet is going to be Leclerc to finish on the podium and potentially help Ferrari to secure second spot in the Constructors Championship.

Suggested Bet: Charles Leclerc Podium at 7/4
