BettingDiaryThe Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands is the track on which this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix will take place and Formula 1 fans will be hoping for a much better spectacle than what we got in Belgium.

Last week’s Belgian Grand Prix was the shortest ever after the start was delayed due to heavy rain and only 3 of the scheduled 44 laps were completed behind the safety car. Max Verstappen took the victory and 12.5 points ahead of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in 3rd.

Hamilton retained his lead at the top of the Drivers Standings just 3 points ahead of Verstappen with 10 Grand Prix’s left to race. The Constructors Championship is also tight this season with Mercedes 7 points ahead of Red Bull Racing Honda.

This will be the first Dutch Grand Prix since 1985 when Niki Lauda took the victory and the track has undergone extensive changes.

Suggested Bet: Max Verstappen win at 11/10

Verstappen may have been gifted at the Belgian Grand Prix, but he had looked good in the build-up finishing 1st in qualifying ahead of Russell and Hamilton.

The Zandvoort Circuit is expected to be lightning quick which will suit Verstappen and there are a couple of other reasons why the Verstappen win bet appeals. World Sports Betting has a special this week and if you back a driver to win the Dutch Grand Prix and your selection wins and also records the official fastest lap of the race, they will double your winnings in free bets.

There is also the standard F1 promo where if your selection finishes 2nd you get your stake back in the form of free bets so frankly whether you pick Verstappen, Hamilton or anyone else this weekend, World Sports Betting is definitely the place to have your bet.

Suggested Bet: Top 6 Finish, Estaban Ocon at 9/2

Ocon was a surprise winner of the Hungarian GP before the break and he certainly has been knocking on the door of a Top 6 finish this season with a couple of 7th places and 4 top 9’s. That win would have given him a lot of confidence and at this price I think he represents excellent value for a Top 6 finish.
