It is early days, but Liverpool will be feeling the pressure to get their first 3 pointer having drawn 2-2 away to Fulham in their first match. Liverpool were always on the back foot having to come from behind twice to grab the point which was eventually secured via a Mohamed Salah 80th minute equaliser. Liverpool had been short priced favourites to win the game and the draw was trading at 5/1 prior to kick-off.
Crystal Palace lost their opening match 2-0 at home to Arsenal who were 5/6 favourites to win the game. Palace went behind in the 20th minute and were always open to be hit on the break as they pushed for the equaliser with the Gunners scoring their second goal in the 85th minute although it was a Crystal Palace player, Marc Guéhi who did the damage with an own goal.
Liverpool have dominated recent head-to-head clashes between the sides winning the last 10 League matches against Palace. Last season Liverpool won this fixture 3-0 and beat Palace 3-1 in the reverse fixture and in their last 6 League games against Palace they scored 21 goals while conceding just twice.

Crystal Palace 14/1
Suggested Bet: Liverpool to win to nil at 15/20
I am expecting Liverpool to deliver a much more emphatic performance in defence and I think that Palace’s record of battling to score against them will continue.
For those looking for a bigger price bet how about Mohamed Salah to score the opener at 29/10. It looks as though Liverpool are going to be relying on him for a lot of goals this season and with 1 in the bag already I fancy him to pop up with the opener at Anfield.
